10 x Double Passes to an Advanced Screening of ‘Forbidden Ground’ + Q&A with filmmakers (Sydney only)Score tickets to this impressive Australian-shot war drama, and hear from the filmmakers about the challenges in getting the story to screen.
ScarletFire Films and Odin’s Eye Entertainment, in association with NAFA, are thrilled to announce a special pre-release screening of the locally-shot WW1 action thriller Forbidden Ground on August 12, 8.30pm at the Chauvel Cinema in Paddington.
Hosted by the Networking Action for Filmmakers and Actors (NAFA), the screening will be followed by a Q&A session with the filmmakers – co-directors Johan Earl (who also stars) and Adrian Powers, and producer/star Denai Gracie – who are expectedly excited about this latest development in their efforts to present their work.
Says Gracie: “Forbidden Ground is a testament to all the independent filmmakers out there. The transition from short films to features is a mammoth challenge, and we anticipate the Q&A for Forbidden Ground will inspire young filmmakers to continue striving for their goals and think outside the box.”
Forbidden Ground enjoyed a rousing reception from FilmInk at a preview screening earlier this year, praised for its emotionally arresting story and incredible production value, while attention now turns to sharing the film’s wares with a greater audience.
