Nestle distributes a lifestyle survey to people who have participated in promotions as part of our marketing activities.
What information will I be sent in the future?
By signing up to the Nestlé database, you’ll be the first to receive news about exciting competitions, offers, product samples, promotions, recipes, nutrition information tailored to your needs and much more. You can opt out of all correspondence at any time.
How do I enter the competition?
In order to enter, you must be an Australian resident and 18 years of age. You must ‘Like’ the Uncle Toby’s fanpage to view the app, enter 25 words or less describing an UNCLE TOBY memory, enter your details, adhere to the Ts&Cs and submit your entry. There’s also an opportunity for you to upload an image that brings your UNCLE TOBYS memory to life.
What kind of memories are you looking for?
We’d love to hear your favourite memory or story of how UNCLE TOBYS have been a part of your life. A memory could be as simple as telling us your lunch box always had an UNCLE TOBYS muesli bar in it every day!
Why can't I see the memory I shared?
In order to ensure that the content within the UNCLE TOBYS ‘120 years’ hub remains in line with the house rules, all comments, suggestions and images will be reviewed by an UNCLE TOBYS moderator prior to publication on our website. We aim for all entries to be reviewed within 24 hours of submission.
If your entry is deemed to be outside the house rules of the page, you’ll be notified via email that your entry is not valid. Should you have any follow-up questions relating to this decision, you’ll be able to do so via email.
How do I share memories with friends?
Once you have successfully posted your memory or story, you will have the option to share on Facebook. Only once your memory has been approved by UNCLE TOBYS, will your entry be visible in our gallery.

All images uploaded must be a JPEG or GIF file and cannot exceed 10MB in size. Please check the size of your image carefully if your’re having problems uploading your picture.
What will UNCLE TOBYS do with all collected memories and stories? Where will my memory be featured if I win?
By agreeing to share your memory (as outlined in the terms and conditions), your content may be used in UNCLE TOBYS marketing collateral, whether you end up being a winner or not.
What do I get if I win?
We’ll be giving a year’s supply of UNCLE TOBYS snacks & cereals to 1 lucky winner. There are also 10 UNCLE TOBYS hampers up for grabs. 11 prizes will be awarded in total, comprising of 1 prize for the major winner and 10 prizes for the minor winners. TERMS AND CONDITIONS1. Information on how to enter & prizes form part of these terms & conditions. Any entry not complying with these terms and conditions is invalid.
2. Entry is open to residents of Australia who are 18 years and over, are fans of the UNCLE TOBYS Facebook Fan Page and have a valid email address (“Eligible Entrant”). Employees of the Promoter, the Promoter’s associated companies, the Promoter’s agencies associated with this competition and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
3. The competition commences at 11.59am Australian Eastern Standard Time (“AEST”) on Tuesday 13 August 2013 & closes at 11.59pm AEST on Monday 16 September 2013 (“Competition Period”).
4. To submit an entry, go to
www.facebook.com/officialuncletobys then find the “120 YEARS” tab. Follow the prompts to complete your entry as follows:
a) Complete the entry form, including your contact details
b) Tell us in no more than 25 words “How UNCLE TOBYS has been a part of you and your family’s lives over the years.”
c) (Optional) attach an image depicting a memory of how UNCLE TOBYS has been a part of you and your family’s lives over the years. Please remember to only submit a photo that you have taken yourself and if anyone else appears in the photo that you have checked with them that they are happy for it to be shared with the UNCLE TOBYS Facebook community.
5. Entry is not limited provided each entry is different.
6. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process, including but not limited to making multiple entries, or for otherwise submitting an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions.
7. The following prizes will be awarded:
a) Major Prize is valued at $1,598.80 recommended retail price (“RRP”) and includes: a year’s supply of UNCLE TOBYS Oats and is based on what a family of 4 people would need for 12 months. The prize will be delivered to the winner as 8 cases of UNCLE TOBYS Quick Sachets Oats Original (i.e. a total of 1,360 individual Quick Sachets) equally divided into 4 deliveries, the first being within 28 days of the judging date, then at 3 month intervals.
b) Runner-Up Prize is valued at up to $100 RRP and include: a hamper of UNCLE TOBYS products containing a variety of Oats, Cereals and Snacks products. There are 10 Runner-Up prizes to be awarded.
8. This competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the identity of the prize winners. All valid entries received during the Competition Period will be judged on their merit and the entry judged to be the most inspiring and creative will win the Major prize and the next 10 best entries will each win a Runner-Up prize.
9. Judging will be completed at 61-63 Great Buckingham Street, Redfern NSW 2016 by close of business on Monday 23 September 2013.
10. Each winner will be notified in writing within 48 hours of judging being finalised to the email address they supplied with their entry to arrange delivery of their prize. The names of the 11 prize winners will appear at the UNCLE TOBYS Facebook Fan Page by close of business on Friday 27 September 2013.
11. Total prize pool is valued at up to $1,598.80 RRP.
12. Prizes are not transferable & cannot be taken as cash.
13. Prize values are correct at time of printing but no responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of any prize.
14. The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
15. Each entry becomes the property of the Promoter. All details will be held in accordance with the Nestlé Privacy Policy which can be accessed by visiting

16. Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
17. The Promoter retains the absolute discretion to require a winner to provide proof of age and identity in a form determined by the Promoter before awarding the prize.
18. Prizes will be delivered to each winner as follows:
a) Major prize winner will receive their first delivery within 28 days of the winner confirming their delivery address details to the Promoter via email; and the 2nd, 3rd and final deliveries will at intervals of 3 months thereafter.
b) Runner-Up prize within 28 days following the winner confirming their delivery address details to the Promoter via email.
19. Entrants release Facebook from all liability in relation to the Competition. Entrants acknowledge that this Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook and that any information provided by entrants is provided to the Promoter and not to Facebook.
20. By entering the competition, each entrant acknowledges that their name and entry statement may be used for printing, broadcast, publicity and promotional purposes, including but not limited to the UNCLE TOBYS Facebook Fan Page (
www.facebook.com/officialuncletobys) or the Promoter’s other website/s without compensation. It is a condition of accepting any prize that a prize winner acknowledges that the Promoter may use the entry for commercial purposes and agrees not to object to any such use on the basis of any moral right.
21. If for any reason this Competition is not capable of running as planned, whether caused by infection by computer virus, mobile phone failure, line drop out, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, (subject to any written direction given by a relevant Regulatory Authority), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition. The Promoter may in its sole discretion disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
22. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter’s database. The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information caused by an entrant or occurring during transmission. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone, telephone or computer network, or lines, servers, or telephone or internet providers, traffic congestion on any phone or computer network, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s handset or computer related to or resulting from participation or sending or receiving of any communication or of any materials in this Competition.
