From the writers of Napoleon Dynamite, Austenland tells the story of a small-town girl, unlucky in love, who is obsessed with all things Jane Austen. Jane Hayes (Keri Russell) saves all her pennies for a trip to Austenland – a place where the die-hard fan can be completely immersed in the fabulous, old-fashioned world of the beloved author. When she arrives Hayes realises that the trip might not be all she had imagined, but when she meets a young servant (Bret from Flight of the Concords!) working at the theme park a lifetime of dreams suddenly start to become true.
A good romantic comedy and we give it 10 points for featuring Stifler’s mum.
Please note these tickets are exclusively valid for Cinema Nova in Melbourne.
