1. Instructions on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years and over only. Employees of the Promoter, advertising agencies and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter.
3. Only one entry per person will be permitted.
4. The promotion commences on 14th November 2013 at 00:01am (AEDST) and closes 11.59pm (AEDST) on 7th January 2013. The judging will be done by a panel of judges appointed by the Promoter. The judging will take place at the Promoter’s premises (Level 7, 717 Bourke Street, Docklands VIC 3008) and will begin on 20th January 2013. The winner will be notified by telephone and mail using contact details provided in their entry.

6. This is a game of skill, chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on its literary and creative merit of the answer to the question provided. The judges’ decision in relation to any aspect of the competition will be final and binding on every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into.
7. The Entrant warrants to the Promoter that the entry submitted is an original artistic work of the Entrant that does not infringe the rights of any third parties. If the entry or any part of the information provided to the Entrant in relation to the entry was provided by a third party, the Entrant warrants that they have obtained the relevant copyright permission to submit the entry for the purposes of this promotion. The entrant agrees to indemnify the promoter against all claims and costs by third parties arising from a breach of the warranty set out in this condition.
8. 12. In the event that the winner place of residence is located in the state of which any of the prize events takes place, the flight component of the prize will not be included.
13. The event based prizes include two (2) tickets only. Any other meals and drinks (unless specified), transfers to and from the event etc are at the expense of winner. (The Tickets are general admission only and does not include the winner being able to participate in any initiation only or restricted access components of the event). The winner will be provided a list of dates in 2014 that they can redeem the prize upon winner notification. This component of the prize is subject to availability at the time of booking.
14. The Promoter is neither responsible nor liable for any loss or damage suffered in the event that the Summernats, Top Gear Live, Bathurst or International Truck Show is postponed, cancelled, rescheduled or relocated for any reason whatsoever.
15. The winner (and their companion) are responsible for all other expenses including but not limited to taxes, surcharges, spending money, meals (unless specified), drinks, transfers (unless specified), laundry charges, activities (unless specified), incidentals, energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs.
16. Transport to and from Departure point including but not limited to additional Domestic airfares if required, any additional meals, any extra sightseeing or activities, any additional accommodation, personal spending money, and all other ancillary costs, as well as obtaining any of these, are the responsibility of the winner and their travel companions. Prize also excludes medical expenses, items of a personal nature, beverages, optional tours not outlined, laundry, telephone calls, additional nights, room upgrades or other ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize other than those specified. These costs and expenses are the responsibility of the winner. Any extension to the duration of the prize is at the winner’s sole expense and subject to availability at the time of booking. For the removal of doubt, taxes for domestic travel are included in the prize winning domestic airfares provided by the Promoter.
17. A credit card imprint or cash deposit will be required from the winner at check-in of the hotel for all incidental charges. Once accommodation vouchers are issued they are non-changeable.
18. Prize values are based upon the full fare prices at the time of competition terms lodgement. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate prize redemption date.
19. Unless expressly stated in these conditions of entry all other expenses (including travel to and from the departure point) become the responsibility of the winner.
20. The prize (or any part thereof) cannot be sold, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken for cash.
21. The winner (and any companions) must travel on the same dates, depart from and return to the same point of departure and travel together. Frequent flyer points will not form part of the prize. Standard conditions for tickets and accommodation apply. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winner will not be compensated for unused portions of the prize.
22. All prizes must be taken as offered. The prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed as cash. The prize is not valid in conjunction with any other offer. The prize is valued in Australian dollars. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. Prize winners are advised that tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and they should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance of their prize. In the event that a portion of the prize is awarded to the winner in the form of a voucher / ticket / pass, redemption of that portion of the prize will be subject to the terms and conditions stipulated on the voucher / ticket / pass. 23. The prize does not include any installation or set-up of any of the products.
24. Products included in prize package (including but not limited to titles, colour, design, sizing, model, finish, style etc) will be determined by the promoter in its complete discretion. All prizes must be taken as offered.
25. In acceptance of the prize, the Winner acknowledges that they may incur ongoing costs associated with the prize which are the entire responsibility of the winner.
26. The prize will be delivered to the nominated address of the Prize winner. Delivery of the Prize is valid to any state and/or city in Australia.
27. Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers.
28. Subscription prizes, winners acknowledge that they understand that ‘tip-ons’ and gifts that may be available with non-subscriber copies may not be provided with subscriber copies. This determination is made at the sole discretion of Bauer Media Limited.
29. Entries not completed in accordance with the Terms and Conditions or received after the closing date will not be considered. Indecipherable or incomplete entries will be deemed invalid.
30. If for any reason a winner does not redeem an element of a prize by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited.

35. If your entry is selected as a winning entry, validation of your circumstances/ the validity of your entry will be undertaken by the Promoter. Method of validation (without limitation) will be determined by the Promoter in its complete discretion. If the winning entry is deemed to be a winner, the winner will be notified as per the terms and conditions herein.
