Lovers of hard rock and sludge rejoice! Two of America’s finest are hitting our shores this December. Celebrating their 30 year anniversary, experimental sludge godfathers Melvins will be joined by alt metal virtuosi Helmet in a run of shows around the country.
Melvins have released a veritable ‘shitload’ (their words) of albums over the past 30 years, the most recent being a covers collection called Everybody Loves Sausages.
Meanwhile, Helmet, fronted by Page Hamilton, have been playing their own brand of heavy music around since 1989, putting their offbeat time signatures and dense chords to tape and releasing 7 studio albums and touring the world constantly.
