The Promoter is lastminute.com.au Pty Limited ABN 34091825142, 173-185 Sussex St, Sydney NSW 2000 (Promoter).
Information regarding prizes and how to enter form part of these terms and conditions. Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Entry to the competition is free (excluding internet charges) and is only open to entrants who are 18 years or over. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and their related entities are ineligible to enter.
The promotion is open to residents of Australia only.
The promotion commences at 12pm AEDST, Thursday 5 December 2013 and closes at 12pm AEDST, Wednesday 18 December 2013 (“Promotional Period”).
Only one entry per person is permitted. Should more than one entry be submitted, only the first entry will be considered for the promotion, with additional entries deleted.
To enter the promotion, participants must, during the Promotional Period, go to
http://www.lastminute.com.au/travel_lifestyle_survey to complete the ‘lastminute.com.au Travel & Lifestyle Survey”, including answering in 25 words or less: ‘What does “living every lastminute” mean to you?’ and fully complete and submit the online entry form.
The answer to ‘What does “living every lastminute” mean to you?’ that is judged most creative by the Promoter will be deemed the winner. This judging will take place at 173-185 Sussex St, Sydney NSW 2000 at 12:05pm AEDST, Wednesday 18 December 2013. The winner will receive a $500 lastminute.com.au accommodation and/or flight gift voucher (“the Voucher”).
The Promotion is a game of skill; chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each valid entry will be individually jusged by representatives of the Promoter. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Voucher is valid for offline accommodation and/or flight bookings only, via the lastminute.com.au customer service team, by calling (02) 8016 4148.
Voucher expires Wednesday, 18 June 2014. Booking must be made by this date in accordance with the process set out in paragraph 10.
Voucher is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable and non-redeemable for cash. Voucher must be taken as offered. No modifications or exchanges will be possible.
The Voucher must be used in a single transaction. No change will be supplied should the total transaction be less than the value of the voucher. Should the total transaction be greater than the value of the voucher, it is the voucher holder’s responsibility to pay the difference. The value of the voucher must cover lastminute.com.au booking fees and charges.
The prize will be arranged by the Promoter.
Any additional costs incurred by the winner, other than those which forms part of the prize, are the responsibility of the winner.
Should the winner be uncontactable by midday AEST, Wednesday, 18 June 2014, the answer to ‘What does “living every lastminute” mean to you?’ that is judged second most creative by the Promoter will be deemed the winner at 12:05pm AEST, Wednesday, 18 June 2014 at 173-185 Sussex St, Sydney NSW 2000. If re-judging is necessary, the voucher expiry will be extended by a further three months.
The maximum total value of the prize pool is AU$500.
The winner will be notified on the day of the judge’s decision. The winner’s details will also be published at
www.lastminute.com.au on Thursday, 19 December 2013 for a period of three months.
If for any reason the winner does not take their prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then that prize will be forfeited by the prize winner and neither cash nor any other prize will be awarded in lieu.
The Promoter expressly reserves the right to resolve any discrepancies, disputes or otherwise unforeseen circumstances as it deems fit and the Promoter's decision will be final and binding upon every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter expressly reserves the right to change or alter these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Entries must be the entrant’s original work. The Promoter reserves the right to verify or require the entrant to verify that the entry is the entrant’s original work.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, misdirected or illegible submissions.
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that is suffered by any entrant or winner (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking any prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
The Promoter shall not be responsible for any entries that are not received or are otherwise interfered with due to problems with the internet or telecommunications services.
If this promotion is not capable of running as planned due to any reason, including unauthorised intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) in its sole discretion to cancel the competition or to disqualify any individual who has tampered with the entry process.
In order for you to participate in this promotion the Promoter will collect your name, telephone number, email address and age. The purpose for collecting this personal information is to enable the Promoter to administer the promotion.
By entering this promotion you agree that the Promoter may use the aggregate information collected from the competition for related research and marketing purposes.
