By entering the Little Stanley Global Culinary Adventure Competition 2013/14 – Win a $10,000 Global Culinary Adventure,(“the Competition”), you accept the following terms and conditions:
Competition Terms and Conditions
Definitions
For the purposes of these Competition Terms and Conditions, the following terms have the following meanings:
“Anthony John Group” means Anthony John Group Pty Ltd ACN 010 793 656, representatives of Southpoint development. “Cash Passport” means the Flight Centre travel currency passport described at paragraph 12.
“Dining Experience” means the applicable meal purchases which determine eligibility to enter the Competition, as detailed in paragraph 6 below. “Major Prize” means the major prize described in paragraph 12.
“Mandatory Information” means the information which must be provided by you in order to be eligible for the Competition, as detailed in paragraph 7 below.
“Participating Little Stanley Retailers” means the participating retailers for the competition, as described further in paragraph 6(a) below and as listed at the end of these Competition Terms and Conditions.
“Promoter” means South Bank Corporation ABN 95 927 817 538, Ground Floor, South Bank House, Stanley Street
Plaza, South Brisbane Qld 4101.
“Travel Voucher” means the Flight Centre travel voucher described at paragraph 12.

Competition Dates
The Competition commences at 9.00am Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on Friday 13 December 2013 and finishes at 11.59pm on Friday 28 February 2104. All entries must be received by the Promoter by 11.59pm (AEST) on Friday 28 February 2014. Late entries will not be accepted.
Who can enter
Entry is open to all Queensland residents over 18 years of age. Entry must be by an individual, not a company or other organisation.
Directors, management and employees of the Promoter and any agencies, firms and/or companies associated with the Competition (including suppliers of the prize) and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
How to enter
To enter the Competition, you must:
Purchase of a meal for $20 or more from participating Little Stanley retailers to receive an entry card.
Complete the details on the entry card provided and return to the restaurant or drop into the red vintage postboxes positioned along Little Stanley (x 3), OR
Complete the entry form online via the South Bank website or Facebook page. To enter, go to the following website,

Entry to the Competition is free.
For an entry to be valid, it must contain these required fields – your name, email address, postcode, daytime telephone number, the unique entry code, restaurant you dined at, date you dined, meal you ordered, and quality of service (“Mandatory Information”). You may also provide us with the details of your waiter’s name and (if entering the Competition online), uploading a photo of your meal, however, this further information is voluntary. If you do not supply all of the Mandatory Information, your entry will be deemed invalid.
You may enter the Competition every time you dine at a Participating Little Stanley Retailer and spend $20 or more within the Competition period. However, you can only enter once per Dining Experience and you cannot enter online if you have submitted a hard copy entry card. You cannot enter multiple times online with the one entry code. You cannot enter online without receiving an entry card after purchasing a meal for $20 or more.
If you enter online, you are required to keep the entry card/s for proof of your Dining Experience.
Any person who, in the opinion of the Promoter, tampers or interferes with the entry process in any way, or who does not properly comply with the entry process or the Competition Terms and Conditions is not eligible to win the Major Prize.
If an entry is incomplete, incorrect or incomprehensible, or a winning entry is deemed not to comply with these Terms and Conditions, in the Promoter’s sole discretion, the Promoter reserves the right to discard that entrant’s entry and proceed as if that entrant had not entered the Competition. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Selection of the Winner
All valid entries will go into a draw. All hard copy and digital entries will be collated. The Promoter will draw the Winner on Tuesday 4 March 2014 by 5.00pm (AEST). The Winner will be contacted via phone and email and will be required to present their hard copy entry card with matching unique entry code if they entered online. If the Winner cannot provide the hard copy entry card within seven (7) days of being contacted by the Promoter, their entry will be deemed invalid and another entry will be drawn. The Winner will also be published on Visit South Bank’s website and Facebook page.
Major Prize
There is one major prize. The major prize is a $10,000 Flight Centre Travel Voucher, inclusive GST (“Travel Voucher”) (provided by Anthony John Group). If the Winner uploaded a photo of their meal via Facebook or the Visit South Bank’s website, they will win an extra $1,000 AUD spending money in the form of a Multi-currency Cash Passport (prepaid currency card) (“Cash Passport”) from Flight Centre (provided by South Bank Corporation). Any fees associated with the Cash Passport are the responsibility of the Winner.
The Travel Voucher (and, if applicable the Cash Passport) will be forwarded to the Winner via express post within fourteen (14) days of the Winner being contacted by the Promoter and their hard copy entry card being provided to the Promoter, if the Winner entered online..
The Winner must make their own travel arrangements with Flight Centre.
The Major Prize is transferrable to another person (“transferee”) if details of the transferee are provided in writing to the Manager, Marketing & Visitor Services, South Bank Corporation by 5.00pm (AEST), Friday 7 March 2014. Prior to claiming the Major Prize, the transferee must subscribe to the Promoter’s newsletter, by registering his/her details with the Promoter. Details on how to register can be found at

By entering the Competition, you warrant that:
the details contained in and with your entry are true and correct;
you have all necessary rights to enable you to accept these Competition Terms and Conditions and grant the rights contained in these Competition Terms and Conditions to the Promoter;
any photographs, details, comments or other material you provide to the Promoter will not infringe the rights of any third parties.
You indemnify the Promoter against any loss, damage or claim for compensation resulting from your breach of any of the warranties contained in clause 16.
General
The Major Prize is not negotiable or redeemable for cash. The Flight Centre Travel Voucher is subject to Flight Centre’s Terms and Conditions which are available at
http://www.flightcentre.com.au/travel-extras/gift-cards/gift-cards-conditions. The use of, and the charges in relation to, the Cash Passport are subject to the terms and conditions of Flight Centre.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries or for any technical difficulties or periods of unavailability of the entry mechanism via Facebook or the Visit South Bank website. The Promoter has no control over communication networks or services, including but not limited to the internet, and accepts no responsibility for any problems associated with them.
The Promoter makes no representation or warranty as to the quality of the goods or services provided by Flight Centre.
The Promoter and any Participating Little Stanley Retailer will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, direct,indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Competition or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law). Notwithstanding the foregoing, to the extent that the Promoter or any Participating Little Stanley Retailer is held liable in connection with this Competition, then their liability shall be limited, cumulatively in the aggregate, to the sum of $100 (one hundred dollars).
The Promoter will not be liable for any damage to or delay in transit or receipt of the Major Prize.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.
You agree to be contacted by the Promoter about the Competition and to participate in the Promoter’s publicity and promotional activities as reasonably requested, including being photographed by the Promoter for use by the Promoter in future marketing and promotional activities, without any fee being paid to you.
You grant the Promoter, its licensees, assignees and the Anthony John Group a royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to exercise, in the Promoter’s sole discretion, all rights in relation to your entry into the Competition, including the use of your image and any photograph uploaded as part of your entry in the Competition, for any promotional and publicity activity. You also agree to participate in all promotional activity. This licence includes all rights to allow the Promoter to display, distribute, reproduce and create derivatives of the content, in whole or in part, without further review or consent from you, to the public throughout the world on any media platform.
Collection notification under the Privacy Act
As part of your entry to this Competition, you agree to your personal information being collected by the Promoter and used in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy (which is available from
www.southbankcorporation.com.au/privacy or on request from the Promoter) and the following Privacy Collection Notification:
the Promoter is the party collecting the information in this form. You can contact us at

the Promoter may use the details it collect from you, including any email address you give to us, in relation to your participation in the Competition, for your entry into the Competition, any promotional and publicity purposes and to send you information and direct marketing communications about our products, services, event, offers or any other activities (including third party products, services, offers and events) which we consider may be of interest to you;
some of the information we ask you to provide may be identified as mandatory or voluntary. If you do not provide the Mandatory Information (as indicated in paragraph 7), you will not be able to enter the Competition;
we may disclose the information provided under this form to third parties that are related to or affiliated with the Competition, such as the Anthony John Group and Flight Centre;
the Promoter’s Privacy Policy (detailed below) also sets out the process as to how you can access and correct any of your personal information collected in relation to the Competition as well as to how you can make a complaint;
it is possible that some of the information collected via this form may be disclosed to our IT service providers who may utilise data hosting facilities outside of Australia and you consent to your information being disclosed to a destination outside Australia for this purpose, including but not limited to the United States of America, and you understand and acknowledge that Australian Privacy Principle 8.1 will not apply to such disclosures of your personal information;
you may unsubscribe from receiving any further communication from us at any time, and if you do not wish to receive direct marketing communications from the Promoter, or if you do not wish to receive direct marketing communications from other organisations which are aligned with the Promoter, please contact us via the details provided above; (h) your personal information will be handled by the Promoter in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy (which is available at
