Rhythm of Africa competition - Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions

1.     This is a game of chance.

2.     Entries open on 2 January at 9:00am (AEST) and close at 5pm, 10 January 2014 (AEST).

3.     The winner will be drawn at random on 13 January 2014 at 2:00pm at the offices of Zoos Victoria.

4.     The winner will be notified by email on 13 January 2014.

5.     The competition is open to all residents of Australia over the age of 18, other than board members, employees and their families of Zoos Victoria and Quest Werribee.

6.     The promoter is Zoos Victoria, ABN 969-139-590-53

7.     Valid details must be entered in order to be eligible to enter the competition.

8.     Only one entry per email address will be accepted.

9.     One winning entry will be selected.

10.  The judges’ draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

11.  The winner must claim the prize within five days of being notified that you have won. Failure to claim the prize within five days will result in a redraw and you will not be entitled to any supplementary prize or benefit.

12.  This prize will be valid between 13 January 2014 – 22 February 2014. The winner will receive overnight accommodation in a two bedroom apartment (four people) at Quest Werribee, continental breakfast basket, DVD hire and munch pack, $50 dinner voucher to Raffael’s Restaurant and a family pass to Rhythm of Africa at Werribee Open Range Zoo $518.50

13.  The winner must pre-book accommodation in advance by contacting Quest Werribee on 03 8744 6000. Accommodation will be subject to availability and excludes peak periods. 48 hour cancellation notice applies for accommodation. Credit card or security bond will be required upon check in.

14.  The prize is not transferable, not refundable or redeemable for cash. The prize cannot be sold, auctioned or given away (i.e. one of the people that attends the experience and night at the hotel must be the person drawn in the competition). The Promoter takes no responsibility for any variations in prize values.

15.  Entries will become the property of the promoter and will not be returned.

16.  Entry in this competition shall be deemed to be an acknowledgement and acceptance of these terms and conditions.

17.  All other costs associated with the prize, including but not limited to any travel, spending money, meals, insurance and all other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the winner.
