Terms and Conditions – Facebook Competition “What is Love to You?”By entering the “What is Love to You?” competition on Facebook, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Entrants must “like” the MAX Diamonds’ Facebook page to enter (become a page fan). They are then to post a photo with a description on the timeline of the MAX Diamond’s Facebook Page.
One photo per entrant. To win, the entrant’s photo must have more Facebook “likes” than the other participants in the competition. All Facebook “likes” from any Facebook users will be valid.
2. WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2,
competition entry is open to all residents of Australia who are 18 years of age or over (‘Eligible Entrants’). 2.2 Employees and their immediate families of MAX Diamonds are not eligible to enter.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The competition commences on Wednesday January 15th 2014 at 09:00am
and concludes on February 14th 2014 at 10:00am. 3.2 In order to enter, entrants must:
3.2.1 ‘Like’ the MAX Diamonds Facebook Page
3.2.2 Post a photo taken by you with description on MAX Diamonds’ Facebook page that answers the question “What is love to you?”
3.2.2.1 Copyrighted, obscene, provocative or otherwise questionable content will not be considered. MAX Diamonds retain sole discretion as to what constitutes inappropriate content.
3.3 Entrants may enter the competition only once per Facebook account.
4. PRIZE
4.1
An 18 carat white gold Natural Argyle Pink diamond and brilliant cut white diamond ring valued at $3100. 4.2 There will be one winner.
4.3 Prize can be:
4.3.1 Collected in-store (Suite 3 Level 28, 31 Market Street, Sydney NSW 2000); or
4.3.2 Posted within Australia by mail.
4.4 Prizes cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.
5. HOW TO WIN
5.1 There will be one winner: the entrant’s post with most likes.
5.2 Each entrant who has entered the competition over the duration of the competition will be eligible.
5.3 The winner will be notified via Facebook comment on winner’s post and Facebook announcement.
5.4 The winner must advise preferable method to receive prize.
5.4.1 In the event that the winner decides to receive prize via mail, the winner will have to provide MAX Diamonds with address via Facebook message, e-mail or call.
5.4.2 If preferable method is to pick-up the prize in-store, winner agrees to provide proof of identity when collecting the prize.
5.5 The winner’s name will be published on the MAX Diamonds’ Facebook Page and website (
www.maxdiamonds.com.au/blog).
6. NO LIABILITY
6.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions.
6.2 MAX Diamonds will take no responsibility for prize damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.
6.3 If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition
6.4 Where the Competition is communicated on Facebook, entrants and participants in the Competition acknowledge that the Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with Facebook and entrants and participants in the Competition release Facebook and its associated companies from all liability arising from the competition. Entrants provide their information to the Promoter and not to Facebook.
