THE MOVIE

We follow Trip (Dane DeHaan: The Place Beyond the Pines, Lawless), a young roadie sent on an urgent mission during Metallica’s roaring live set.

As the band performs for tens of thousands of fans, Trip is dispatched outside the arena to recover a mysterious item being transported to the show.

But the seemingly simple assignment turns into a surreal adventure when the roadie finds himself in the middle of a tense stand-off between angry protesters and charging riot police.

In the ensuing mayhem, amidst the post-apocalyptic street scape, a vicious masked horseman sets his murderous eyes on Trip.

For more than three decades, Metallica has been a dominant force in rock ‘n’ roll, continually pushing the envelope to create mind-blowing musical experiences for their legions of loyal fans.

Metallica Through the Never is one of the most impressive concert films ever produced and is available on 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD from 29 January 2014.

Competition commences on 27/01/14 and concludes on 10/02/14 at 12:00pm. Entry is open to all residents of Australia, but excludes all employees of Australian Penthouse. Entrants must provide their full postal address information and an answer to the question, “Quote your favourite line from any Metallica track, and tell us why it’s your favourite”, in 25 words or less. This is a Game of Skill which contains no element of chance, and which will be judged by members of the Australian Penthouse staff on 10/02/14. Ten winners will receive one DVD copy or one Blu-ray copy of  Metallica Through the Never, as detailed above. Prizes will be mailed to winners at address nominated in their entries.
