Entry is only open to Western Australian residents. Entrants under 18 years old must have parental/guardian approval to enter and further, the parent/guardian of the entrant must read and consent to these Terms and Conditions. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
Promotion commences 10am Friday 24/01/2014 and closes 11pm on Wednesday 12/02/2014 (“Promotional Period”).
To be eligible to enter the instant win component, individuals must first, during the Promotional Period, visit
www.ikeapasstheparcel.com.au, follow the prompts to the registration page, fill in in all requested details including a valid and current email address, and submit the fully completed registration form. Each individual is only permitted to register once. Incomplete or indecipherable registrations will be deemed invalid.
Upon completion of the above, the entrant will become a registered participant in virtual game of “pass the parcel”. To participate in the game, the registered participant will receive a promotional email during the Promotional Period informing them of when it is their turn to unwrap a virtual parcel. Upon receipt of a promotional email, the participant must, within 48 hours of its receipt, click the link in the promotional email in order to unwrap the virtual parcel and see whether or not they have won an instant prize. If the participant does not click the link within their promotional email within 48 hours of its receipt, then the link will expire. For the avoidance of doubt, several virtual parcels may be passed to participants during the Promotional Period and a participant may receive more than one promotional email during the course of the Promotional Period. To enter the Grand Prize draw, individuals who have won an instant prize must visit the IKEA Perth store and claim their instant prize between Friday 14/02/14 and Sunday 16/02/14 during the store’s trading hours. At the time of instant prize collection, winners will also be entered into the major prize draw. Only one entry into the major prize draw is permitted per person. When the instant prize email is presented at the Prize Zone located in the IKEA Perth store entrance, it will be placed into the Grand Prize Entry Box. The Grand Prize draw will take place on Wed 19/02/14. The winner of the Grand Prize draw must collect their prize ($1000 IKEA Gift Card) during store open hours before Mon 31/03/14.
The Grand Prize draw will take place at the IKEA Perth store, Ellen Stirling Boulevard, Innaloo on Wednesday 19/02/14 at 2pm. One winner will be drawn at random. Draw winners will be notified by email by Friday 21/02/14.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The valid entry drawn in the Grand Prize draw will win $1000 in the form of a $1000 IKEA gift card.
If a winner of any major prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner's nominated parent or guardian on the winner’s behalf.
If for any reason a winner does not redeem a prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited.
If any prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
