DESIGN A PAIR OF STEEL BLUE BOOTS AND YOU COULD WIN THEM!
These Terms and Conditions apply to Steel Blue’s ‘The Big Boot Build Off’ Facebook promotion. By participating in the Competition, you undertake to comply with and abide by these Rules and provide all information required. You understand that any failure to do so will result in disqualification.
Important Dates:
The competition runs from the 08.00AM 17th February 2014 up till the 11:59PM 14th March 2014.
Your Boot Design:
Use our Facebook application to design your own Steel Blue boot! Follow the prompts to upload your design into our photo contest. If your boot gets the most votes by the end of the Competition period – we’ll make it for you!
Your Votes:
Don’t want to design a boot – just want to win one? No problems! Go to our photo contest and vote for your favourite design, and you will go into the draw to win that design if it gets the most votes! 20 to be won!
Your Prize:
Your custom pair of Steel Blue boots in your size, valued at $180 RRP.

General Terms and Conditions:
To design your own Steel Blue boot, visit the Steel Blue boots Facebook fan page, and click on the Big Boot Build Off application.
By submitting your design to the Big Boot Build Off competition, you agree to grant Steel Blue boots, free of charge, the right to use your design photo in any manner and media, including without limitation, the right to publish, adapt, distribute, copy, display or translate. The prize may only be taken as stated and cannot be changed.
You must supply full details as required by the entry form, and comply with all rules to be eligible for the prize(s). No responsibility is accepted for ineligible entries or entries made fraudulently. Steel Blue boots reserves the right to moderate all design photos. The voter’s decision is final in every situation, including any not covered above, and neither the voters nor Steel Blue boots will respond to correspondence justifying its decision.
The design with the most votes by 11.59PM on 14th March 2014, will win one pair of their Steel Blue boot design (RRP $180). The draw for the 20 voters of the winning design will take place at 18 Irvine Drive Malaga WA 6090 at 8AM 17th March 2014. Winners will be notified by email within 2 days, and published in The Australian newspaper on 24th March 2014. Total prize pool $3,780.
A draw for the prize, if unclaimed, may take place on 27th June 2014 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. The winner, if any will be notified by notified by email and their name will be published in The Australian newspaper on 4th July 2014.
Steel Blue boots reserves the right to modify or cancel the Competition or any of the arrangements, schedules, plans or other items directly or indirectly related to the Competition, at any time and for any reason if deemed necessary in its opinion.
You waive all claims against Steel Blue boots, its personnel and agents arising out of any oral or written publication or republication of any statement made in connection with the present Competition, your person or your design entry.
Entry is only open to Australian and New Zealand residents. Entrants under 18 years old must have parental/guardian approval to enter and further, the parent/guardian of the entrant must read and consent to these Terms and Conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to the minor entering this promotion.
To enter, individuals must complete the following steps during the Promotional Period:
visit the official Steel Blue Boots Facebook Page (at
http://www.facebook.com/STEELBLUEBoots);
click the ‘like’ button (if not previously done so);
follow the prompts the promotional application;
input the requested details requested on the entry form; and
submit the fully completed entry form.
