From the director of Mean Girls and starring Aussie Lucy Fry, Zoey Deutch (Beautiful Creatures) and Sarah Hyland (TVs Modern Family), this story follows Lissa and Rose, who are school students on the run from St Vladimir’s Academy. Although, this is no ordinary school, as Lissa is a Royal mortal vampire living in danger from the fiercest and most dangerous vampires and Rose is her protector – a powerful blend of human and vampire.
When the girls are tracked down and reinstated in school - Rose must train and finesse her fighting skills under the watchful eye of her dreamy mentor Dimitri in order to graduate as a Guardian and be formally assigned to protect her best friend. Rose can’t help shake the darkness that is looming, and the fear that her enemies are closing in with the intent of hurting those she loves. The pair must navigate through their dangerous world, confront the temptation of forbidden romance, and prepare themselves for the impending battle that threatens life as they know it.
