Djuki Mala by the Chooky Dancers from the Northern Territory on Thu 14 Mar, 7.30pm
SLQ have one double pass up for grabs to the spectacular opening night of Djuki Mala (Chooky Dancers) thanks to the Judith Wright Centre!
Traditional culture, contemporary performance and a keen sense of comedy combine in the electrifying self-titled production for the Top End’s amazing Chooky Dancers. Hailing from the remote Northern Territory community of Elcho Island (Galiwin’ku community), the Chooky Dancers arrived on the world stage via a hilarious YouTube clip combining traditional dance with pop culture.
The Chooky Dancers will be performing at the Judith Wright Centre from 13 – 15 March, and we've got tickets to give away to the 7.30pm performance on Thursday 13 March. To be in the draw email
