Imagine this... You have just had your bag snatched from your hand, it has your whole life in it. You mobile phone, your wallet, cash, passport and the worst thing is you are overseas and can't call home.
How to enter
To enter the Fright Face competition follow the steps below:
Take a photo of your Fright Face.
Upload it to our Secure Sentinel facebook page, and like it too!
Most likes wins, so get your friends and family to like your Fright Face.
Competition Terms and conditions
Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions. Any entry not complying with these terms and conditions is invalid.
Entry is open to residents of Australia, 16 years of age or over. Employees and the immediate families of Secure Sentinel, Veda and companies within the Veda group are ineligible to enter. If an entrant is under 18 years of age they must have their parent or guardian's approval to enter this promotion.
Entrants can enter by uploading a photo of their Fright Face to the Secure Sentinel Facebook page and liking the Facebook page.
The photo must comply with the following rules to be eligible:
The photo must depict a frightened face.
The photo must not contain any inappropriate gestures, content or nudity.
If the photo does not meet these rules Secure Sentinel reserves the right to not allow the entrant to enter the competition.
Only one Fright Face can be submitted by each entrant, and the entrant with the most likes by the competition close date will be the winner.
The winner will be notified by Facebook message within 5 working days from the competition close date. The prize can be collected or sent to an Australian address nominated by the winner.
The Promotion commences at 12.01am (AEST) on 20 December 2013 & closes at 11.59pm (AEST) on 31 March 2014. ("Promotion Period").
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.
The winner will be the entrant who has the most likes for their Fright Face on the Secure Sentinel Facebook page as at 11.59 (AEST) on 31 March 2014.
If the winner does not respond within 1 week from the date that they are sent a Facebook message, the runner up will then be announced the winner. The winner will be notified through Facebook and then announced on the Secure Sentinel Facebook page once they provide approval for their name to be used within a post.
The Prizes:
iPad Mini 16GB Wi-fi. Total maximum value of prize is AUD$346.
1 year SecureIdentity Membership. Total maximum value of prize is AUD$111.95.
The total maximum retail value of all Prizes is AUD$457.95.
Each prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated. Each prize is not transferable to another person (unless agreed to by the Promoter) or exchangeable for other goods and services and cannot be redeemed for cash. If the winner of a prize is under 18 years of age the prize will be awarded to the winner's parent or guardian on their behalf. Any element of a prize that is unused will be forfeited.
If a Prize cannot be provided for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to provide an alternative Prize to the same value and nature.
The Prize values are correct at time of printing but no responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of any of the Prizes.
The Promoter reserves the right to redraw in the event of any entrant being unable to satisfy these Terms & Conditions or forfeiting or not claiming any Prize. If a Prize remains unclaimed or forfeited through ineligibility or otherwise, the Promoter will award the prize to the runner up. Any winner will be notified in writing via Facebook message and published on the Secure Sentinel website.
The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using any Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
A condition of accepting the prize is that the Winner must provide approval for their Fright Face to be published on the Secure Sentinel Facebook page and the Secure Sentinel website. The winner must also agree to the use of their name, and the photograph of themselves for publicity and promotional purposes, without compensation, and agree that the Promoter will own copyright in any such images and photograph/s and in all material incorporating the photograph/s.
If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned (whether caused by infection by computer virus, line drop out, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the promotion), the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, (subject to any written direction given by a relevant Regulatory Authority), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion. The Promoter may in its sole discretion disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
Entries are deemed to be received at the time they are sent to the Secure Sentinel Facebook account. The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated or utilised in this competition, or by any technical error that may occur in the course of administration of this competition. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
The Promoter collects information about entrants to include them in the promotion and, where appropriate, to award Prizes. Entrants can gain access to their personal information by contacting the Head of Secure Sentinel at 100 Arthur Street, North Sydney NSW 2060.
