The program will include selections of large works, ranging from Purcell to Porter, that examine the art of seduction in Shakespeare's comedic works. Perth-born tenor Alexander Lewis recently made his debut with the Metropolitan Opera in New York City, and has recently toured as the lead role in The Phantom of the Opera.
The musicians and actors will also join forces in the premiere of a new work by Melbourne-based composer Dermot Tutty, based on The Taming of the Shrew. The concert starts at 7.30pm on March 28. Tickets are $40 and concessions $36. For bookings, visit
