HIS sharp-tongued and sarcastic humour has had audiences in stitches for years and now comedian David Strassman and his ventriloquist doll Chuck Wood are back with a new show.
Careful What You Wish For will be a funnier and darker look inside the twisted mind of David Strassman as he takes audiences on a journey into a world where nothing is as it seems.

The international comedy star is considered one of the best ventriloquists in the world.
Strassman's show will feature full-scale production complete with elaborate sets and state-of-the-art theatrical effects as well as multiple characters and high-tech puppetronics (robotics) that bring his characters to life.
The comedy continues even when Strassman has left the stage as his motorised puppets continue without him, making audiences forget it is a one-man show.
He and a NASA engineer friend snuck into the Ames Research Facility in Oakland, California, one night to create the machinery that would bring Chuck Wood the robotic ventriloquist to life.
Strassman is popular in Australia but also praised around the world for his radically original theatrical productions which have cracked up crowds at London's West End and New York's off-Broadway.
He started his career as a street performer in New York City, after opting out of drama school, and built a career in the comedy club boom that made Seinfeld a household name, and created comedy television chat shows in Australia, the United Kingdom and New Zealand.
He has toured the world presenting his show in countries as diverse as South Africa and Denmark.
Now David Strassman will head to the Port, with Chuck Wood in hand, to entertain the audience at Soldiers Point Bowling Club on Thursday, April 3 at 7pm.
