We’ve gone barnyard mad at the Australian Reptile Park and we’re going to delight our visitors young and young at heart with Ranger Mick’s Farmyard Nursery during the upcoming school holidays. A marquee full of cute babies including pigs, goats, rabbits, cows, guinea pigs, chickens and ducks will be open from Saturday 12th April 2014.
There’s loads of new attractions at the Australian Reptile Park too. We’ve rebuilt our playground with a reptilian theme; house new komodo dragons and our wonderful new nature walk features a Noctarium and bush birds aviary. There’s also a new grandstand at Elvis the crocodile’s enclosure so more people can see the mighty lunch time feeding show.

Our Kids to Keeper workshops will run throughout the holidays to keep kids from 3-18 active and entertained. If you’ve always wanted to know what goes on behind the scenes at a zoo, join our VIP Behind the Scenes Tour that runs for 90 minutes on April 12 and takes visitors inside the zoo’s restricted areas. Visit the Lost World of Reptiles, Spider World and Frog Hollow and grab a photo with an alligator, giant python, koala or wombat every day of the holidays. Food is available at the Hard Croc Café, or visitors are welcome to bring a picnic or BBQ and enjoy lunch in the bushland setting and hand-feed the friendly kangaroos.
