A chance to win an iPad Mini with RACQ Online ClassifiedsRACQ Online Classifieds has reached a milestone 1000 advertisements, and to celebrate The Road Ahead is giving new registered users the chance to win one of two iPad Minis, each valued at approximately $350. Register with RACQ Online Classifieds between 1 April and 31 May 2014 and place at least one new ad in this period to automatically go into the draw for a chance to win.
RACQ Classifieds is a free service for RACQ members. A one-off registration process enables members to submit as many advertisements as they like for free, across 80 categories including boats, clothing, toys and caravans.
RACQ Publishing Executive Manager, Jim Mathers, said RACQ Classifieds was launched in mid-2013 with 70 categories, but has since expanded in response to member feedback.
"We’ve always had a Classifieds section in The Road Ahead, but we’ve gone way beyond what we do in the magazine to allow people to sell everything from their own cars to their household furniture."

This competition is a promotion run by The Road Ahead Publishing Co Pty Ltd ABN 72 009 716 465 (“Promoter”).
Entries and information on prizes and how to enter form part of these terms and conditions (“Terms”). Entries not completed in accordance with these Terms are ineligible.
Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
The competition is open to RACQ members who register with RACQ Online Classifieds and place at least one (1) ad between April 1, 2014 and May 31, 2014. The winners must be current RACQ members at the time the competition is drawn.
Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and related entities of the Promoter are ineligible to enter.
To enter, register with RACQ Online Classifieds (
www.racqclassifieds.com.au) between April 1, 2014, and May 31, 2014, and place at least one new ad in this time period. When registering with RACQ Online Classifieds, entrants are required to provide their email address and postal address.
The Competition will be drawn at 10am on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at RACQ The Road Ahead, 300 St Paul’s Terrace, FORTITUDE VALLEY.
Two winners will be chosen at random from all eligible entries received. The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Each winner will receive one Apple iPad mini (16GB Wi-Fi enabled), valued at approximately $350. If a competition prize is not available when the competition is drawn, the prize winner will be given a replacement prize that is of equal or greater value.
Prize components may alter at the discretion of the Promoter. Any change in the value of the prize between the publishing date and the date prizes are claimed is not the responsibility of the Promoter.
The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
The winners will be notified by email using the email address the winners provided when they entered the competition. Prizes will be posted or couriered to the winners as appropriate using the postal address provided by the winners when they entered the competition.
In the event that a redraw is required, it will be held at RACQ, three weeks after the original draw date and the redrawn winner/s will be notified by email using the email address they provided when they entered the competition. If the competition winner is unable to be contacted within three (3) weeks of the draw a redraw will occur. In the event that a redraw is required it will be held at 9am on June 24, 2014 at RACQ The Road Ahead, 300 St Paul’s Terrace, FORTITUDE VALLEY and the redraw winner will be notified by email using the email address provided by the redraw winner when they entered the competition.
All entries become the property of the Promoter. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
The information that entrants provide will be used by the Promoter, RACQ, for the purpose of conducting the competition, and to periodically keep entrants informed about the goods and services provided by the Promoter, related entities and its service providers. By entering this competition entrants consent to the use of their contact details for the purposes described in this clause. If for any reason this competition is not capable of being conducted by the Promoters as intended, whether because of computer virus, mobile phone failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Promoters which in the Promoters’ opinion affects the administration of the competition, security, fairness or integrity, the Promoters may in their sole discretion, cancel, modify or suspend the competition, subject to the approval of the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation in Queensland as may be required.
The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage or for any personal injury sustained as a result of taking the prizes or entering into this competition. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of any goods or services offered as prizes. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered to person or property by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter or its employees or agents, in connection with the arrangement for the supply, or the supply, of goods and services by any person to the prize winners and where applicable, to any persons accompanying the prize winners.
