DORIS is a heart-felt homage, co-written by Melinda and musical theatre scribe David Mitchell (of Dusty and Shout! fame). The clock turns back as Melinda lovingly tells the story of Doris Day’s life through such popular standards as Sentimental Journey, Que Sera, Sera, Everybody Loves a Lover, Secret Love and a whole slew of hits from the smash movies Calamity Jane, The Pajama Game and Love Me or Leave Me. DORIS plays at the QPAC Playhouse Brisbane from Wednesday, May 21, to Sunday, May 25.

2. Entries and information on prizes and how to enter form part of these terms and conditions (“Terms”). Entries not completed in accordance with these Terms are ineligible. Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
3. The competition is open to residents of Queensland over the age of 18 years of age only.
4. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and related entities of the Promoter are ineligible to enter.
5. The competition commences at 8.30am on Thursday, April 3, 2014 and closes at 5pm on Wednesday, May 7, 2014.6. The final draw of the competition will be drawn at RACQ The Road Ahead, 300 St Paul’s Terrace, FORTITUDE VALLEY on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 3pm.
7. There will be ten (10) prize winners in this competition that will be chosen at random from all eligible entries received. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. Entrants are entitled to only one entry to the competition and only one prize will be awarded to each prize winner.
9. To enter the competition, entrants are required to visit roadahead.com.au/win/doris and subscribe to any of The Road Ahead Lifestyle e-newsletters using the form provided. When completing the entry form, entrants are required to provide their telephone number, email address and postal address.
10. Each prize winner will receive double tickets to Melinda Schneider’s performance of DORIS at 7.30pm on either Wednesday 21st May or Thursday 22nd May at the Playhouse QPAC, Russell Street, South Bank, Brisbane, Queensland, a signed CD and a post-show meet and greet with Melinda. Each prize is valued at $210. Total prize value is $2100.
11. The prizes are subject to availability, not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
12. The winners will be notified on the phone number, email or postal address they provide when they enter the competition. Competition results will also be published on
www.roadahead.com.au two weeks after the final draw. The prizes will be posted or couriered to the winners as appropriate within one month of the competition being drawn to the addresses provided by the winners when they are notified that they have won a prize in this competition.
13. If a competition winner is unable to be contacted within one (1) week of the draw a redraw will occur. In the event that a redraw is required it will be held at 9am on May 15th, 2014 at RACQ The Road Ahead, 300 St Paul’s Terrace, FORTITUDE VALLEY and the redraw winner(s) will be notified by mail or by telephone or email using the address, telephone number or email address provided by the redraw winner(s) when they entered the competition.
14. All entries become the property of the Promoter. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
15. The information that entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting the competition, and to periodically keep entrants informed about the goods and services provided by the Promoter, related entities and its service providers. 16. If for any reason this competition is not capable of being conducted by the Promoter as intended, whether because of computer virus, mobile phone failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter which in the Promoter’s opinion affects the administration of the competition, security, fairness or integrity, the Promoter may in its sole discretion, cancel, modify or suspend the competition, subject to the approval of the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation in Queensland as may be required.
17. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage or for any personal injury sustained as a result of taking the prize or entering into this competition.
