Releasing on 24 April nationally in honour of ANZAC Day, CANOPY is an acclaimed Singapore/Australian co-production that explores the personal wartime experiences of one Australian soldier.
The soldier’s plane crashes in the Singapore jungle during the Japanese invasion of February 1942. The film focuses on the psychological effects of the sudden change in circumstance, injury, disorientation and fear on his psyche as it tracks his experiences and desperate quest to evade the enemy and escape to safety.
In Melbourne the movie will screen at the Nova, Palace Cinema Como, Palace Dendy Brighton and the Sun Theatre, Yarraville. RACV members have the chance to win one of 10 double in-season passes.
