Just as quickly as we said goodbye to the Dreamworks Heroes Collectible Cards we say hello to the newest addition to the Woolworths Supermarkets that will get kids across Australia begging their parents to shop at Woolworths.Woolworths and Jamie Oliver are educating kids about the benefits of fresh food with the launch of Jamie’s Garden Collectibles, a world first collection of exciting new sensory stickers and sticker albums.The Jamie’s Garden Collectibles range includes 128 stickers featuring fresh produce and garden animals with special effects such as 3D, thermal ink and scratch and sniff technology. It’s everything that can be found in Jamie’s working garden at home in the UK.Children can keep track of their stickers in a special scrapbook-style album This fun and interactive sticker album takes kids in a treasure hunt through Jamie’s Garden with interesting facts, puzzles and kid friendly recipes that teach children about healthy nutrition, fresh ingredients and the origin of food.
In a bid to inspire kids to connect with fresh food, the Jamie’s Garden Collectible range contains a mini greenhouse with seed packets to help kids understand how fruit and vegetables are grown.
There are also eight of Jamie’s super power fruit and vegetable plush toys to collect as well as gardening tools and a nifty tin for keeping their collectibles stickers safe.Jamie Oliver said “My kids would go wild for the new Jamie’s Garden Collectibles range. The stickers are some of the coolest I’ve seen. I’m a huge advocate of kids learning first-hand where the freshest, yummiest food comes from and teaching them the joys of growing, nurturing and cooking with home-grown produce.”
Woolworths Managing Director of Australian Supermarkets and Petrol, Tjeerd Jegen said, “Jamie’s Garden Collectibles is the most exciting collectible program we’ve launched at Woolworths to date. Kids will be able to smell, touch and cook their way through Jamie’s garden, as well as learn about how they can grow their own with Jamie’s Garden Greenhouse.”
“Woolies and Jamie share the passionate belief that a love of cooking real food from scratch should be encouraged and nurtured from a young age. We’re encouraging the kids of Australia to get hands on in the garden and the kitchen to learn the joys of cooking with healthy, fresh produce” he said.
Customers will receive one pack of four Jamie’s Garden stickers for every $20 they spend in store. Albums will be available in store for $5. Jamie’s Garden Collectibles range is available from Woolworths stores nationwide from the 21st May for six weeks or while stocks last.
