The Trip To Italy is a comedy by Michael Winterbottom (24 Hour Party People)and a semi-fictional improvised tour of Italy. Rob has been commissioned by a newspaper to go on a driving tour of Italy from Liguria to Capri, partly following in the footsteps of the great Romantic poets. Old friends Rob Brydon and Steve Coogan embark on a trip of a life time where they will be wined and dined by what Italy has to offer. The pair journey through the beautiful Italian countryside they talk about life, relationships and their careers whilst stopping at wonderful restaurants and hotels along the way.
