Jason (Efron) and his co-worker Daniel (Teller) have always been serial commitment phobes, becoming masters at never going past the ‘so…where is this going?’ point. They’re the exact opposite of their love-devoted married pal Mikey (Jordan). But everything changes when Mikey is devastated by the news that his wife has been cheating on him. In a bid to cheer him up, the friends decide to take him out for an epic night on the town where they make a united pledge to bachelorhood. The next morning a confused Jason wakes up to find himself in the bed of Ellie (Poots). Unclear and confused of the circumstances of their rendezvous, Jason flees the scene.

However Jason’s sneaky exit awkwardly backfires when Jason and Daniel walk into an important work presentation only to find Ellie is a potential client. Desperate to apologise for his vanishing act, Jason embarks on a mission to make it up to her, and in the process wins her heart. Meanwhile, Daniel and ultimate wingwoman Chelsea become more than friends, and a heartbroken Mikey secretly rekindles the passion with his wife.
