When it comes to getting dressed in the morning, nobody is really trying to channel George Costanza (sometimes you just end up that way). That is until now. The new spring/summer collection from Vanishing Elephant is called ‘Anti-hero’, celebrating not the most fit, the most popular or the most cool – it’s just about having fun in the most honest way possible. It’s all about the Georges. There are traces of late ’80s and dawn-of-the-’90s party wear and sports-inspired outfits, but by VE’s own admission there’s “more emphasis on the inspiration and less on the perspiration.”
