Terms and Conditions

Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this
competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. The promoter is Brookwater Golf
Operations Pty Ltd ABN 63 094 878 243, Level 10, Springfield Tower, 145 Sinnathamby Boulevard,
Springfield Central QLD 4300

Eligibility
2.
Entry is only open to
Australianresidents over the age of 18.
3.
An entrant must be an individual and not
a company or organisation.
4.
Entrants can only enter once.
5.
Employees and their immediate families of
Brookwater Golf Operations Pty Ltd and
their associated
agencies and companies are not eligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse,
ex
-
spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-
child (whether by natural or by
adoption), parent, step-parent,grandparent, step
-
grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or
first cousin.
How to enter
6.
The competition commences on
Tuesday 24 June 2014
and concludes on
Tuesday, 12 August 2014
at
noon (“the Competition Period”).
7.
During the Competition Period, e

The
random draw will take place on Tuesday, 12 August 2014 at
2.00pm
at Level 10, Springfield Tower,
145 Sinnathamby Boulevard, Springfield Central QLD 4300

for the Winner and Playing Partner
at the newly refurbished
Springfield Lakes Hotel
to the value of
$180
11.
No part of the prize is redeemable for cash.
12.
The one night’s accommodation is valid for either Monday, 25 August 2014 or Tuesday, 26 August
2014.
13.
The prizewinnerand Playing
Partnerwill play to his or her Golf Australia handicap. If a prize winner
does not have a Golf Australia handicap, the prize winner will be assigned a handicap of 18 for the Isuzu
Queensland Open ProAm.
If Playing Partner does not have a Golf Australia handi
cap, the
Playing
Partner
will be assigned a handicap of 18 for the Isuzu Queensland Open ProAm.
14.
If the
prize winner or Playing Partner
is unable to attend on
on Tuesday, 26 August, 2014
, the prize is
forfeited
.

The prize

agree
to participate and co

operate as required in all editorial
activities relating to the promotion
of the Isuzu Qld Open ProA

, including but not limited to being
interviewed and photographed. The
prize
winner
and Playing Partner
grant
Brookwater Golf
Operations Pty Ltd t/as Brookwater Golf & Country club
a perpetual and non
-
exclusive licence to use
such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winners will not be entitled to any fee for
such use.
How to win
16.
Each entrant who has entered the competition over the Competition Period and registered all details in
accordance with clauses 6
and
7 will be entered into
the draw
.
17.
The prize winner
will be notified by phone and email on
Wednesday
, 13
August 2014
.
18.
In the event that a
prize winner cannot be contacted, and all reasonable effort is made to locate the
winner, a redraw will take place.
19.
The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the
result.
No liability
20.
In the case of the i
ntervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders
the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these
terms and conditions, including but not limited to
vandalism, po
wer failures, tempests, natural disasters,
acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel
the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to
Queensland
l
egislati
on.
21.
The Promoter
and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any misadventure,
accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur:
a.
as a result of the entering the competition;
b.
in the participation in any prize;
c.
as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail;
d.
due to the broadcast of any program relating to the competition or the publication of any
material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other
entr
ants or any other person;
e.
due to circumstances outside the Promoter’s reasonable control.
22.
The Promoter
and its affiliates assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion,
defect, delay in operation or
transmission,a communication line failure, theft or destruction or
unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries, and reserves
the right to take any action that may be
available.
23.
I
f, for any reason, this competition is not capable of being conducted as planned, inc
luding, but not
limited, due to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes
beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the
administration security, fairness, integrity
or proper conduct of this compet
ition, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify
any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel,
terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to
Queensland legislation.
