The Cape York Tour is a 6 day / 5 night adventure setting out from Cairns and riding all the way up to the northernmost point of mainland Australia. Included in the prize is return flights from any major city in Australia as well as all meals and accomodation.
The ride is over 1200km and is suitable for somebody confident on a dirt bike with a reasonable level of fitness.

1. Honda Australia Motorcycle and Power Equipment Pty Ltd, ABN: 96 006 862 852 of 1954-1956 Sydney Rd Campbellfield Vic 3061 require that participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Entry must be made through

www.tenplay.com.au/competitions . To enter participants must enter their Full name, email address and phone number into the entry form on the Daryl Beattie Adventures website.
2. Entry is open to residents of Australia 18 years or older. Entrants must have a full valid Motorcyle Licence to enter and be competent at riding in an off road environment. Employees of the Promoter, associated agencies and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter.
3. Only one (1) entry per person will be permitted. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
4. The promotion commences on 25th June 2014 and closes at 11:59pm (AEST) on 30th July 2014 (“Promotional Period”). The draw will take place at Furphy Media Group of 264-270 Normanby Road South Melbourne 3205 on the 31st July 2014 at 2pm and winner will be selected by a computer generated selection. The winner will be notified by email using the contact details given in their entry by the 31st of July 2014. The winner will be published on the Daryl Beattie website from Friday 1st August 2014.
5. Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
6. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
7. The selected entry will receive:
One spot on a Daryl Beattie Off Road Adventures Tour to Cape York valued up to $5,500 including all meals and accommodation.
Economy Flights to and from location from any major city.
Prize dates 3rd September to 8th September 2014 OR 1st October to 6th October 2014.
Winner must use own rider gear including full face helmet and appropriate riding clothing.
8. Prize is available to approved applicants only, suitability conditions apply. These include but are not limited to, that riding ability is sufficient, the rider has the appropriate riding gear, the rider is of good health. If the winner is not deemed fit for the prize, the winner may transfer their prize to a suitable friend or family member if they are deemed eligible for the prize by the Promoter.
9. It is a condition of accepting a prize that the winner agrees to be interviewed, photographed and filmed at any time during the redemption of the prize and the acceptance of the prize by the Promoter or their agents for a story or feature on this promotion to be developed and featured in any magazines, websites or social media sites (or any other form of media it deems suitable) without further remuneration or reference to the participant. The inclusion of any such feature (including but not limited to creative control of the feature) will remain with the Promoter at all times.
10. It is a condition of accepting the Major Prize that the winner signs all legal documentation (including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.) as provided to them by the Promoter. Form of documentation will be determined by the Promoter in its complete discretion.
11. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner warrants to the Promoter that they understand that any arrangement entered into in relation to the redemption of this prize does not create a relationship between the winner and the Promoter of employer and employee, principal and agent, partnership or joint venture.
12. Prize must be taken as offered. The prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not exchangeable or cannot be redeemed as cash unless otherwise specified. The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other special offer. The prize is valued in Australian dollars. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. Prize winner is advised that tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and they should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance of their prize.
13. In acceptance of the prize, the winner acknowledges that they may incur ongoing costs associated with the prize which are the entire responsibility of the winner.
14. Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers.
15. In the event that for any reason whatsoever the winner does not take the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.
16. In the event that a prize, or part of a prize, is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize or part of the prize in its discretion with an alternative prize or part of the prize to the same and equal recommended retail value. Subject to state regulation.
17. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.
18. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of the prize.
19. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, asappropriate. Subject to state regulation.
20. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to opt out, access, update or correct information to the Promoter.
21. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The collection, use and disclosure of personal information provided in connection with this promotion is governed by the Privacy Notice.
22. By entering this promotion, the entrant consents to receipt of any email regarding the promotion, and other emails/communications which inform the entrant of the Promoter’s other publications, products, services and events and to promote third party goods and services it may be interested in.
