http://tothotornot.com/2014/10/deep-oceans-scienceworks-giveaway/Deep Oceans at Scienceworks – Giveaway!Scienceworks have a new temporary exhibition opening next Saturday 25 October called ‘Deep Oceans’.
Deep Oceans unlocks the mysterious world of strange and rarely seen deep sea creatures, with hands-on and interactive experiences, model displays and real specimens. Meet the Vampire Squid, Dragonfis, Sea Mouse, Fangtooth and Squat Lobster and other weird and wonderful animals that live 4000 metres below the ocean’s surface.
Deep Oceans comes to Melbourne via Canberra’s Australian Museum and Questacon and the Melbourne version of the exhibition includes something special – a virtual dome aquarium. This means visitors can compare the deep sea environment with footage of Victoria’s own underwater backyard, Port Phillip Bay.
Deep Oceans is recommended for ages 5 and up. For younger kids there is an Octonauts trail where kids can follow eight Octonauts characters on a special adventure through the exhibition, solving puzzles and making discoveries.
