From a World Premiere season at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, followed by seasons in London and Johannesburg, the Brazilian Dance Spectactular Brazouka has just arrived in Perth with its Australian Premiere at the Regal Theatre, before continuing on to Sydney, Melbourne and the Gold Coast.
Led by Bras Dos Santos acknowledged as the best freestyle Lambazouk dancer in the world. Brazouka is his personal “dance or die” story to scramble onto the world’s dance stage from the toughest streets of Brazil.
Brazil’s eighteen strong thrilling new dance company will take you on a journey of intense passion, pulsating music and explosive energy as they introduce you to the sensual dance language of Lambazouk, Lambada, mixed with the bouncy Forro style, dazzling martial arts/dance - Capoeira, Afro-contemporary, Rio Zouk and the cheeky partner dances of the Samba.
