Terms and Conditions
The Promoter is Burwood Village Traders Association, PO Box 13, Burwood, Victoria, 3125.
Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.
Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or older. Staff, workers, owners and their immediate families from business located in the Burwood Shopping are not eligible participants.
To enter participants must purchase an item or service, then complete the entry form and hand it to participating Burwood Village Traders.
The competition commences at 00.01 (AEDST) Monday 13thOctober 2014 and closes at 6.00pm (AEDST) Friday 13th December 2014. (Entry Period).
Entries must be received by the Trader during the Entry Period. Entries received after closing time will not count towards the competition.
Multiple entries are accepted, if each entry is completed on a separate entry form.
The winner will be selected randomly from the entries. All entrants must keep a proof of purchase (receipt) from any trader for their entry to be valid and to claim the prize. Receipt must be dated between 13th October 2014 and 12th December 2014.
The draw will be conducted at Camberwell Sports & Spinal, 1431 Toorak at 4.00 pm (AEDST) Monday 15th December 2014.
The prize comprises $2,000 in Burwood Village Shopping Dollars (not cash and not redeemable for cash).
The prize is not transferable and not redeemable for cash. The judges’ decision is final and binding – no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if tampered with in any way.
All entrants must confirm and promise that their entry is original and does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
The winner will be notified on Tuesday 16th December 2014.
The Burwood Village Shopping Spree will be conducted on Saturday 20th December. The winner will be accompanied by the Marketing Coordinator of the Burwood Village who will be responsible for making the payments to the traders, as per the entry form there is a requirement that at least 4 different traders form part of the shopping spree.
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (even if caused by negligence) as a result of entering this competition, accepting and/or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address of winner and any other information relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is involved in any way in interfering with the conduct of this promotion.
The winner agrees to participate in any news media activities, be recorded on video whilst on the shopping spree and any other activity surrounding the promotion such as photographic shoots and interviews. . Entry details remain the property of the Promoter. The name and photograph of the winner may be used for promotional purposes by the Promoter.
Once the prize has left the Promoters premises the Promoter is not responsible for late delivery or damage sustained during the delivery of the prize.
