Ah, almost time for Flickerfest, one of our favourite events on the festival calendar. World-class short films, under the sun (or the stars) and against the backdrop of the iconic Bondi Beach. Who can think of a better way to spend summer?
In 2015, the Oscar-accredited festival will screen 20 different short film programs over ten days including the regular competition categories – international, Australian, documentary and Greenflicks. And this year, the festival will also present a number of special showcase sessions including FlickerKids (short films for shorties!), a gut-busting program of Comedy Shorts and Love Bites, a new category dedicated to shorts about the joy and mess of relationships.
