A brand new island on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, Bindi’s Island, now offers an island adventure at Australia Zoo. Visitors can take a journey to Bindi’s three-storey treehouse, set in a tropical paradise with views of Australia Zoo’s cheeky ring-tailed lemurs.
The treehouse was designed and built by the Australia Zoo team that took inspiration from the TV series Bindi the Jungle Girl and Return to Nim's Island. Apart from the lemurs (on display for the first time), Bindi’s island friends include giant Aldabran tortoises Coconut and Jarvis, beautiful macaws, alligator snapping turtle and boa constrictors.
Open: everyday except Christmas Day; from 1:30pm ANZAC Day
