Brisbane's Airtrain is teaming with Paypal to make it easier for people to book travel from Brisbane city, suburbs or Gold Coast to the airport and back again.

And to celebrate, the people at Airtrain have joined with Brisbane Times to giveaway a two-night getaway to Sydney.

We'll fly the winning couple to Sydney and, put them up at the four-star Mantra on Kent and of course ensure their trip gets off to a flying start by getting them to the airport in a flash with Airtrain.

To enter is simple:

Send your entry with details (name, age, mailing address and contact numbers) to btcomps@brisbanetimes.com.au with AIRTRAIN in the subject line.

Within the body of your email, answer the following question: Which company has most recently teamed with Airtrain to simplify ticket payments? Answer: PayPal.

The competition closes Thursday February 12, 2015 at 5pm AEDT, and the prize will be sent by the promoter, Airtrain, to the winner. The winner will be notified via email.

The winner will be drawn at random and the prize includes return flights to Sydney for two people from Brisbane Domestic Airport (valued at $500), two nights' accommodation in a one-bedroom apartment at Mantra on Kent (valued at $488) and two return Airtrain tickets from the city to the airport (valued at $68). Total prize value is $1056.

Airtrain's partnership with Paypal allows holidaymakers and business travellers to enjoy a faster and more seamless travel experience.

Customers are now able to make E-ticket purchases via PayPal in an easy two-click payment process on Airtrain's website and mobile site. Ticket sales via Airtrain's iPhone app will also soon be available with PayPal providing improved convenience to mobile-savvy customers.

Marketing Manager of Brisbane's Airtrain, Gunjan Allen, said the relationship marks Airtrain's continued investment in delivering fast, reliable travel for all and will provide customers with greater payment flexibility.

Paypal Australia director of enterprise Simon Banks said: "We're seeing mobile technology and consumer demand for real-time, digital payments driving change across multiple industries including travel and transport. It's great to be working with Brisbane's Airtrain to facilitate innovative digital ticketing solutions in order to make travel buying a quicker and easier experience on any device."

Brisbane's Airtrain is the sole rail service connecting Brisbane Airport to Brisbane city, the suburbs and Gold Coast.

More than 19 million passenger trips have been made since its launch in 2001.

A "Kids Travel Free" policy allows children aged up to and including 14 years of age to travel free between the Airport and Brisbane city stations when accompanied by a paying adult.

Trains depart every 15 minutes from the city in peak periods and every 30 minutes in off peak periods to the airport in only 20 minutes, Monday to Friday. Brisbane's Airtrain operates seven days a week from 5am-10pm on weekdays and 6am-10pm on weekends.
