To enter the draw, RACQ members simply need to buy any Event Cinemas or BCC Cinemas movie tickets in store at RACQ or online between April 1 and May 15, 2015. Members can receive bonus entries by subscribing to any of The Road Ahead Lifestyle enewsletters. Winners will be drawn on 20 May, 2015.

Event Cinemas and BCC Cinemas pre-purchased RACQ movie tickets competition terms and conditions
This competition is a promotion run by RACQ Operations Pty Limited ABN 80 009 663 414 (“Promoter”).
Entries and information on prizes and how to enter form part of these terms and conditions (“Terms”). Entries not completed in accordance with these Terms are ineligible. Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
The competition is open to residents of Queensland who are current RACQ members and who pre-purchase Events Cinemas and BCC Cinemas movie tickets from RACQ in person or online between 1 April 2015 and 15 May 2015. RACQ members who pre-purchase movie tickets in this period and subscribe to any of The Road Ahead Lifestyle eNewsletters between 1 April 2015 and 15 May 2015 ( will receive one additional entry. l.
Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, related entities and agents of the Promoter are ineligible to enter.
The competition commences at 12.01 am on 01 April 2015 and closes 11.59pm on 15 May 2015. The competition will be drawn at 10.30am on 20 May 2015 in the Tourism Department of RACQ Head Office, 2649 Logan Road, Eight Mile Plains, QLD.
There will be four winners in this competition, one from each of the four categories of eligible entries that will be chosen at random from all eligible entries received. . The four categories of eligible entries are Garden City, Robina, Cairns Central, and Townsville City. These are the four locations of the Event Cinemas where the prizes are to be redeemed. Eligible entries are from RACQ members who make the required purchase/subscription as detailed in clause t 3 above, and who have a residential address recorded on their RACQ membership records that is within a 50km radius of one of the four categories of eligible entrylocations . The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Entry is by pre-purchasing movie tickets from RACQ Stores, or racq.com with a valid RACQ membership card. RACQ members who pre-purchase movie tickets and also subscribe to any of The Road Ahead Lifestyle eNewsletters between 01 April 2015 and 15 May 2015, and can be identified by using the same email address as recorded on the valid RACQ membership where the movie tickets sale was recorded, will receive one additional entry .
One entry per movie ticket transaction during the competition period of 01 April 2015 and 15 May 2015 and one bonus entry for also creating a new subscription to The Road Ahead Lifestyle eNewsletters after a movie ticket transaction during the competition period, is permitted and only one prize will be awarded to each winner. The winners must be current RACQ members at the time the transactions take place, and when the competition is drawn.

The total Prize Value of the four prizes is $2562.00 including GST.
Prize components may alter at the discretion of the Promoter. Any change in the value of the prizes between the publishing date and the date that the prizes are claimed is not the responsibility of the Promoter.
The prizes will be mailed or couriered to the winners directly from the respective suppliers by 05 June 2015 to the addresses listed on the winners’ RACQ membership records.
The prizes is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
Travel and all other ancillary costs are the winners’ responsibility.
The winners will be notified by phone or email on the telephone numbers or email addresses retained on the RACQ membership records . Competition results may also be published at racq.com. The prizes will be posted or couriered to the winners as appropriate.
If a competition winner is unable to be contacted within 2 weeks of the draw a redraw will occur. In the event that a redraw is required it will be held at 10.30am on 03 June, 2015 in the Tourism Department at RACQ Head Office, 2649 Logan Road, Eight Mile Plains, QLD and the redraw winners will be notified by phone or email.
All entries become the property of the Promoter. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
The information that entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting the competition, and to periodically keep entrants informed about the goods and services provided by the Promoter, related entities and its service providers. By entering this competition entrants consent to the use of their contact details for the purposes described in this clause. The Promoter may use or disclose entrant’s personal information to related entities or other appropriate third parties in accordance with its privacy policy.
If for any reason this competition is not capable of being conducted by the Promoter as intended, whether because of computer virus, mobile phone failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter which in the Promoter’s opinion affects the administration of the competition, security, fairness or integrity, the Promoter may in its sole discretion, cancel, modify or suspend the competition, subject to the approval of the gaming authority in Queensland as may be required.
The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage or for any personal injury sustained as a result of taking the prize
or entering into this competition. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability or any goods or services offered as prizes. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered to person or property by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter or its employees or agents, in connection with the arrangement for the supply, or the supply, of goods and services by any person to the prize winners and, where applicable, to any persons accompanying the prize winners.
