1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions. Any entry not complying with these terms and conditions is invalid.
2. Employees of the Promoter, the Promoter’s associated companies, the Promoter’s agencies associated with this competition and their immediate families are ineligible to enter. Entrants under 18 years old must have parental/guardian approval to enter and their parent/guardian must read and consent to these Terms and Conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to the minor entering this promotion.
3. The promotion starts at 10.01am Australian Eastern Standard Time (“AEST”) on 18 May 2015 and closes at 11.59pm AEST on 30 June 2015 (“Promotion Period”).
4. Only one entry per valid email address. Any form of automated entry using any other devices or software is invalid.
5. To enter the competition you must do the following:
(i) Visit the competition website at
http://competitions.bne.com.au(ii) Fill in all entry fields required, including email addresses;
(iii) Tick that you understand and agree to the terms and conditions;
(iv) Submit your entry.
A bonus entry will be recorded to any entrant who Shares the promotion via Facebook, Twitter or email. Up to one bonus entry per calendar day.
6. Entrants will be entered into one of three draws. There will only be one draw open at any one time. Entries will be accepted up until 11:59pm AEST the day before each draw. Any entry received after this time will be included in the next applicable draw, excluding the final draw.
7. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter’s database. The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information caused by an entrant or occurring during transmission. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone, telephone or computer network, or lines, servers, or telephone or internet providers, traffic congestion on any phone or computer network, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s handset or computer related to or resulting from participation or sending or receiving of any communication or of any materials in this Promotion.
8. All prize draws will be conducted by XCOM Media, Unit 1/15 Lamington Street, New Farm Queensland 4005 at 10:00am AEST on the following days:
Draw 1 – 1 June 2015
Draw 2 – 15 June 2015
Draw 3 – 1 July 2015.
The first valid entry drawn in each prize draw will win the prize.
9. The LFC V Roar 2015 Promotion is a game of chance, thus skill plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry has a random and equal chance of being drawn. The Promoter retains the
absolute discretion to require any entrant to provide proof of email and personal information shown on their entry before awarding a prize.
10. The prize for each draw is as follows:
1. Draw 1 prize is 4 x General Admission tickets for the winner and 3 friends to attend the Liverpool FC vs Brisbane Roar match at Suncorp Stadium on Friday 17 July 2015. The prize include a tour of stadium (Roar) on Thursday 16 July 2015 a merchandise gift pack up to the value of AU$220.00; and a travel voucher to be used for the match up to the value of AU$250.00 which can be used to redeem accommodation or travel and expires 1 May 2016. The total value of Draw 1 prize is AU$1500.00 RRP.
2. Draw 2 prize is 4 x General Admission tickets for the winner and 3 friends to attend the Liverpool FC vs Brisbane Roar match at Suncorp Stadium on Friday 17 July 2015. The prize includes a Lunch Experience for four (4) people at Suncorp Stadium up to the value of AU$600.00; a merchandise gift pack up to the value of AU$220.00; and a travel voucher to be used for the match up to the value of AU$250.00 which can be used to redeem accommodation or travel and expires 1 May 2016. The total value of Draw 2 prize is AU$1810.00 RRP.
3. Draw 3 prize is a premium game experience for the winner and one (1) friend to attend the Liverpool FC vs Brisbane Roar match at Suncorp Stadium on Friday 17 July 2015. The prize includes it includes 2 x premium field tickets with a drink package (to the value of AU$500). The prize includes a Lunch Experience for two (2) people at Suncorp Stadium up to the value of AU$300.00; a merchandise gift pack up to the value of AU$220.00; and a travel voucher to be used for the match up to the value of AU$250.00 which can be used to redeem accommodation or travel and expires 1 May 2016. The total value of Draw 3 prize is AU $2500.00 RRP.
11. The winners from Draw 1, 2 and 3 must claim their prizes by no later than 10am AEST on 10 July 2015 and all elements of the prize must be taken on the day of the match or will be forfeited. By claiming the prize, the winner accepts that the promoter may use their name and likeness for their promotional and publicity purposes.
12. The name of the three (3) prize winners from each draw will be published on Brisbane Airport Corporation’s Facebook page and appear at
http://competitions.bne.com.au by 8 July 2015. The prize winners will also be notified by email within two business days of each draw.
13. The prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash and the winners must attend the match specified on Friday 12 July 2015. The winner of Draw 3 must sign a waiver by the promoter before accepting their prize.
14. The total prize pool is valued at AU$5810.00 RRP. Prize value is correct at time of printing but no responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of the prize.
15. The Promoter reserves the right in their absolute discretion to disqualify any entries that are tampered with, or an entrant that attempts to tamper with the entry process; any entries that the Promoters consider manipulative, unrepresentative, or disproportionate; or any individuals found entering who corrupt or affect, or attempt to corrupt or affect, the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the entry process.
16. The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for personal injury suffered or sustained during
the course of accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
17. Entry is conditional on providing personal information. The Promoter collects and deals with personal information in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and its privacy policy available at
http://www.bne.com.au/privacy-policy. An entrant’s details may only be used to contact the entrant about the Promoter, its related companies, their brands, special offers, samples, consumer research and other promotions if the entrant consents to that use, for example by ticking an “opt in” box on an entry form. All entries become the property of the Promoter
18. Prizes must be claimed by no later than 10am AEDST 10 July 2015. If a prize remains unclaimed despite the Promoter’s best endeavours to contact the prize winner, then the prize will be forfeited and the Promoter may conduct an unclaimed prize draw at the same place as the original prize draw at 12 noon on that date in order to award the unclaimed prize. The first valid entry drawn will win the prize of the highest value and the prize draw will continue until all unclaimed prizes have been awarded. The winner will be notified in writing within two business days of the draw and will appear at
http://competitions.bne.com.au by 15 July 2015.
19. If any winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner's parent/guardian on their behalf.
20. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Any questions, comments, or complaints regarding the promotion should be directed to the Promoters and not to Facebook.
21. As a condition of accepting the prize, the winner (or their parent/guardian in the event they are under the age of 18 years) must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form”; and
22. The Promoters’ decision concerning any aspect of this competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoters may amend these terms and conditions at any time.
23. Subject to the approval process required by any relevant gaming or lotteries authority, in the event that any prize item is unavailable despite the Promoter’s reasonable endeavours to procure within Australia, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a different prize item of equal or greater value.
24. Each winner should look to the manufacturer of products and provider of services awarded as prizes for all warranties. However, these terms and conditions do not exclude or limit the application of any statutory provision (including a provision of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) where to do so would contravene that statute or cause any part of these terms and conditions to be void.
25. If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, whether caused by infection by computer virus, mobile phone failure, line drop out, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, (subject to any written direction given by a relevant Regulatory Authority), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion. The
Promoter may in its sole discretion disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
26. The promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize or any variation in the prize advertised and the prize provided. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Each entrant releases and indemnifies the promoter against all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any prize or participation in the promotion including (but not limited to) personal injury and damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise.
27. The laws of Queensland apply to this promotion.
