CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. Information on how to enter and details of the prize form part of these Conditions of Entry (Conditions). Entry into the “Shop & WIN a trip to Singapore”(Promotion) is deemed to be an acceptance of these Conditions.
2. The Promotion commences at 10.00am (AEST) on Friday, 24 April 2015 and entries close at 10.00am (AEST) on Wednesday, 7 October 2015 (Promotion Period).

. Entry is open to all passengers/visitors that visit Cairns Airport and spend $20.00 or more in one transaction at any retail store during the Promotion Period. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and its related entities, or agencies or companies associated with this Promotion and their families and employees, are ineligible to enter.
4. Entrants must be over the age of eighteen (18) years at the time of entry into this competition.
HOW TO ENTER 5. To enter the Promotion, you must spend $20.00 or more in one transaction at any retail store at Cairns Airport. Entrants must then visit:
www.cairnsairport.com.au/win and input their required personal information including:
(a) first name, last name, post code, telephone number and email address; and (b) purchase details being date of purchase, dollar value of receipt, terminal of airport and store where purchase was made.
To validate their entry, entrants must retain either their original receipt, a photocopy of that receipt, a photograph of that receipt or a pdf scanned version of that receipt which they must provide to the Promoter. The onus is on the entrant to ensure that the receipt is legible at the time of the prize draw. In the event that the Entrant is unable to produce either their original receipt containing the same details as those on the entry, a photocopy of that receipt, a photograph of that receipt, or a pdf scanned version of that receipt (each of which must be legible), the Promoter may in its absolute discretion, deem the entry invalid and forfeit the right to any prize. The Promoter may then carry out a redraw until the Promoter draws an entrant who can validate their entry with provision of either an original receipt for their purchase containing the same details as those on the entry, a photocopy of that receipt, a photograph of that receipt, or a pdf scanned version of that receipt (each of which must be legible).
You may enter more than once if you complete more than one retail transaction to the value of $20.00 at any retail store at Cairns Airport.
PRIZES 6. The prize (Prize) consists of the following:
(a) Two (2) return (economy) adult airfares to Singapore, departing from Cairns (Cairns – Singapore – Cairns);
(b) Five (5) nights’ accommodation in Singapore, for two adults, including breakfast daily (c) Airport transfers for two (2) people

(d) AUD $1,000 spending money (a pre-paid visa card with a total of AUD $1,000 credit will be available to the winner for collection from Cairns Airport prior to travel).

7. The Prize is non-transferable, non-negotiable, cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash, cannot be sold or bartered, and is not eligible for mileage accrual for any Frequent Flyer Program. Where any portion of the Prize is unavailable, the Promoter retains the right to substitute the Prize with a prize of equal or greater value, subject to the directions of the Queensland Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation.
8. The ticket: (a) for travel is valid on SilkAir only and is subject to availability in Economy Class travel only. Upgrading to a higher class by paying the fare difference is not permitted;
(b) is valid for travel from 10 October 2015 to 1 July 2016 (excluding certain blackout periods over Easter and Christmas and subject to availability of seats at the time of booking). Extension beyond 1 July 2016 is not permitted.
Travel dates must be arranged and tickets must be booked via Tracey Pearlman who is contactable on 0438 747 349 (email:
tracey.pearlman@cairnsairport.com.au) and issued at least thirty (30) working days before travel. We recommend that you make the booking for travel and accommodation as soon as possible. Travel is on firm basis. Once package is booked and ticketed, changes are not permitted. The winning entrant must be one of the travelers; and the ticket is valid for one month from date of commencement of travel.
9. A copy of your passport and that of your traveling companion must be provided at the time of ticket issuance. You must have a valid passport and the appropriate visas at the time of travel.
10. The Prize includes taxes/surcharges.
11. All expenses outside of the stated Prize at paragraph 6 are at the cost and are the responsibility of the winner. For clarity, the Prize does not include:
(a) travel insurance. The Promoter recommends the prize winner and travel companion obtain comprehensive travel insurance including medical coverage (at their own expense) prior to travel; (b) airport charges; (c) travel expenses; (d) the cost of obtaining passports and visas; and (e) all meals other than breakfast.
12. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to:
(a) any technical difficulties (including viruses) or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control);
(b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
(c) any redemption claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter;
(d) any variation in Prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions;

(e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or
(f) use of the Prize.
13. Each entrant, including the prize winner and any travel companion:
(a) releases the Promoter to the extent permitted by law; and
(b) indemnifies the Promoter and will keep the Promoter indemnified,
against all liability (including any taxation liability) arising out of acceptance of the Prize or participation in the competition, including but not limited to: personal injury and/or damage to any person/property, whether direct, consequential or foreseeable due to any negligent act, omission or otherwise.
HOW WINNERS ARE DETERMINED 14. The first valid entry randomly drawn will win the Prize. The draw will take place at 10.00am (AEST) on Friday, 9 October 2015.
NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS 15. The provisional winner will be notified by telephone or email within three (3) business days of the Prize draw. Failure to produce the original receipt containing the same details as those on the entry, a photocopy of that receipt, a photograph of that receipt or a pdf scanned version of that receipt (each of which must be legible) when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in forfeiture of any right to the Prize.
16. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants and invalidate/disqualify any entry that is made that is not in accordance with these Conditions in its absolute discretion.
UNCLAIMED PRIZE DRAW 17. The Promoter may conduct an unclaimed prize draw on Monday, 19 October 2015, if the provisional winner has been unable to be contacted after all reasonable efforts to contact the provisional winner have been made. All valid entries received during the Promotion Period (other than those relating to a winner who is not entitled to a prize as a result of clauses 3 and 4) will be eligible to win any unclaimed Prize. The first valid entry drawn for the unclaimed prize will win the Prize.
18. The Promoter’s decision concerning any aspect of this competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
ENTRANTS 19. Entrants:
(a) acknowledge that by virtue of their participation in the competition, they may disclose personal information, including sensitive information, to the Promoter; and
(b) consent to the use and disclosure of such personal information by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting the competition and future marketing activities.
20. Except as set out above, the personal information supplied by entrants will be treated by the Promoter in accordance with its privacy policy, which is available upon request and can be found on the Promoter’s website “www.cairnsairport.com.au”.
