In Pixels, when intergalactic aliens misinterpret video-feeds of classic arcade games as a declaration of war against them, they attack the Earth, using the games as models for their various assaults. President Will Cooper (James) has to call on his childhood best friend, ’80s video game champion Sam Brenner (Sandler), now a home theater installer, to lead a team of old-school arcaders (Dinklage and Gad) to defeat the aliens and save the planet. Joining them is Lt. Col. Violet Van Patten (Monaghan) a specialist supplying the arcaders with unique weapons to fight the aliens. Only at the Movies! September 10.

In conjunction with Sony Pictures, RAA is giving away inseason double passes to 20 lucky RAA members to see Pixels. The passes are valid at all participating cinemas from 10 September 2015, for the duration of the film’s season.

Competition Terms and Conditions, ‘Win tickets to Pixels’ Competition

Information on how to enter and prize details form part of the conditions of entry.
All employees of the promoter and its related bodies corporate are ineligible to enter.
The competition commences on 5 August and closes on 8 September.
The competition consists of 20 double passes, which entitles the winner to one double pass from 10 September at selected cinemas.
Total prize pool is $760
Only current RAA Members are eligible to enter.
To enter, members must complete the entry form found by following the link.
The draw will take place at 10am on Tuesday 8 September at RAA, 101 Richmond Road, Mile End, SA, 5031.
The first entry drawn that fulfils the competition entry criteria will win the prizes.
The winning members will be notified by email/mail/phone and the results published online at www.raa.com.au/competitions
In the event that RAA is unable to contact the winner then a redraw will be conducted
The prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or taken for cash.
The winners agree to make themselves available for publicity opportunities at the discretion of the promoter for a period of three months after the collection of prizes.
The promoter’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
The promoter shall not be liable for any tax implications that may arise as a result of accepting any prize. Independent financial advice should be sought by any person participating in the promotion.
