In 1971, a group of friends sailed into a nuclear test zone in a protest that captured the world’s imagination. How To Change The World is the story of the people whose mission gave birth to Greenpeace and defined the modern green movement.

Using rare footage, along with commentary from key members of the group, the film chronicles the adventures of the eclectic young pioneers who set out to stop Richard Nixon’s atomic bomb tests in Amchitka, Alaska, and ended up creating a global movement.
