1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.
2. COMPETITION ELIGIBILITY
* 2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to all residents of Australia 18 years of age or older.
* 2.2 Employees and their immediate families of the Seven Network (Operations) Limited, DeLonghi Australia Pty
Limited, Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The Competition commences on Monday 9 November 2015 at 19:00 AEDT and concludes on Monday 16
November 2015 at 09:30 AEDT (“Competition Period”) however, the eligible registration period will commence and conclude on the following dates (“Registration Period”):

* 3.2 For entry details, viewers must watch Home & Away on the Seven Network (“the Network”) and Affiliates during the Competition Period from Monday 9 November 2015 to Thursday 12 November 2015 and Better Homes and Gardens Friday 13 November 2015 (“the Programs”). There will be a competition segment aired during the Programs (or any replacement program broadcast in the Home & Away or Better Homes and Gardens timeslot), which will display information on how to enter.
* 3.3 Every valid entry throughout the competition (regardless of registration period) will be eligible to win the major prize.
* 3.4 To enter the draw, viewers must do one of the following:
a) SMS: Send a text message/SMS registering the daily code word, their full name, email address and
postcode to 1977 1717 (Charge $0.55 - Helpline 1300 851 419) (“SMS”);
b) CALL: Telephone 1902 55 77 77 (Charge $0.55 fixed - Helpline 1300 851 419) and register the daily code word, their full name, email address, postcode and contact daytime telephone number (including STD area code) (“1902”);
* 3.5 ENTRY CONDITIONS:
a) SMS and 1902 entrants in the Competition may enter as many times as they like, however only one
minor prize will be awarded per person (excluding residents of SA who are entitled to win more than one minor prize). For clarity, minor prize winners are also eligible to win the major prize.
* b) All entries must be received by the date and times detailed in clause 3.1. The time of entry will in each case be the time the SMS or 1902 entry is received by the Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd database.
* c) All entries via scripting are prohibited. If scripting is detected, the Promoter may deem all entries from those entrants invalid.
3.6 ENTRY COSTS:
* a) For viewers in all states, the entry costs for 1902 entries are $0.55 fixed and $0.55 (including GST) for
SMS entries. Note that SMS entries are charged at a premium rate. Higher rates apply to calls to the
1902 prefix phone number from mobile phones.
* b) Each entry must be charged to a mobile account and SMS entries via the internet, computer
generation or “scripting” are invalid and will not be accepted.

4.1 There will be FIVE (5) minor prize winners and ONE (1) major prize winner who will win the relevant prize

* 4.3 Total maximum value of the minor prize pools is AUD $27,735. Total value of the major prize is $20,000. Overall prize value is $47,735. Prize value is correct as at the date of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate date on which the prize is taken.
* 4.4 MINOR PRIZE CONDITIONS
* a) Where the prize package is unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter and Prize Sponsor’s control,
the Promoter and Prize Sponsor retain the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater
value, subject to state government legislation.
* b) The promoter and the Sponsor do not provide installation or assembly after delivery.
* c) The promoter and the Sponsor do not include extra parts or accessories unless otherwise stated in
clause 4.2.
* d) Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash and are not transferable or exchangeable.
* e) The standard warranty conditions apply for all De’Longhi and Kenwood products included in the prize
package detailed in Clause 4.2.
* f) Delivery of the De’Longhi and Kenwood products detailed in Clause 4.2 is included in the prize package
and is at no cost to the winner. The winner must be available to take delivery of the product within business hours.
* MAJOR PRIZE CONDITIONS
In conjunction with clause 4.2, major prize winner must abide by the following conditions:
a) The major prize winner will receive AUD $20,000 in one lump sum in the form of a cheque made payable to the eligible prize winner within 28 days of the draw and only after proof of age and identity has been verified by the Promoter.
* 4.6 It is a condition that all prize winnes abide by the following conditions:
a) The Promoter and the Sponsor shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of claiming or using the prize package, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
b) Prize winners must allow up to 28 days from the draw date for the distribution of the prize from the Prize Sponsor.
c) In accepting the prizes the winners agree to participate in and co-operate with all reasonable media editorial requests, including but not limited to, being interviewed and photographed, and the winners grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
d) The winners agree they will not sell or otherwise provide their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation.
e) It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winners must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and Prize Sponsor’s requirements.
f) Unless expressly stated, all dollar values featured in these terms and conditions are in Australian dollars.
g) Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prize.

5. HOW TO WIN
* 5.1 WINNER DRAW:
Each entrant that has entered the Competition in accordance with these terms and conditions during the Competition Period using a mobile phone with a reply path and whose SMS message has passed through the Telco carriers network to Mnet Mobile Limited’s database or phoned the 1902 number and registered all details required by the individual dates and time stated in clause 3.1 will be entered into the draw (“Qualifying Entrant”).
* 5.2 Five (5) minor prize winners (one per working day) will be drawn from Monday 9 November 2015 to Monday 16 November 2015 at 09:31 AEDT at Mnet Mobile Pty Limited at Level 1, 16 Anster Street, Adelaide, South Australia 5000 from the total pool of Qualifying Entrants.
One (1) major prize winner will be drawn from the total pool of competition entrants on Monday 16 November 2015 at 09:31 AEDT.
All winners will be will be notified by a phone call by the Network Marketing Department within two business days from the draw and a letter will be sent confirming the winner of their prize. The Winners’ entry details will be published in the Public Notes section of The Australian newspaper on Monday 23 November 2015.
* 5.3 The Promoter’s decision is final.
* 5.4 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner (and any companions) may be required to sign a legal
release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
* 5.5 The Promoter may in its absolute discretion deem entries invalid subsequently to a winner being notified or a
winner’s name being announced if it is discovered that the winner did not enter the Competition in accordance with these terms and conditions. In these circumstances, no additional draw will be conducted. Subject to state government legislation, and if required, an unclaimed prize draw will take place on Tuesday 16 February 2016 at 10:00 AEDT at Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd, Level 1, 16 Anster Street, Adelaide, South Australia 5000. TheWinnerwillbenotifiedbymailandtheirdetailspublishedinthePublicNotessectionofThe Australian newspaper on Monday 22 February 2016 if required.
6. NO LIABILITY
6.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the Competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the Competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to state government legislation.
* 6.2 Seven Network (Operations) Limited, De'Longhi Australia Pty Limited, Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.
* 6.3 Seven Network (Operations) Limited, De'Longhi Australia Pty Limited, Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur:
* a) during the entry process or the draw;
* b) in the acceptance, participation or use of any element(s) of the prize;
* c) as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail;
* d) due to the broadcast of any program relating to the Competition or the publication of any material,
including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other
person;
* e) in relation to failure of an SMS entry message to be received by the Promoter on account of technical
problems or traffic congestion; or
* f) arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines or
mobile communications network related to or resulting from participation in this promotion.
* 6.4 Seven Network (Operations) Limited assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available, subject to
state government legislation.
* 6.5 If for any reason the Competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including but not
limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, subject to state government legislation.

* 7.3 Entry details remain the property of the Promoter. Seven Network (Operations) Limited will handle your personal information in accordance with Seven’s Privacy Policy which is available on our website at
http://www.sevenwestmedia.com.au/privacy-policies (and which contains information regarding how you can access your personal information, correct it and/ or make a complaint about our handling of your personal information). By providing your personal information, you agree to the terms of the Privacy Policy. Without limiting the foregoing, Seven may disclose the entrant’s personal information to its related entities, business partners and external service providers for research and profiling purposes as well as other purposes reasonably related to the entrant’s relationship with Seven.
