 SWIG luxury hip flask [giveaway]

Whenever I see a flask or hear about one, I almost always think of this bit by comedian Jim Gaffigan.

My favorite gift I've ever received is a flask. I think giving someone a flask is a nice way of saying, "Hey, you seem like a drunk on the go."

But in all seriousness, a flask is great and you don't need to be a lush to have one! SWIG recently sent me a flask to review, and they're a worldwide luxury hip flask brand. I've also learned flasks are also known as "hip flasks," so add that to your knowledge of booze.

SWIG puts a lot of effort into quality of their products (not just flasks), and therefore they're happy to give a lifetime guarantee. Can't complain about that! The flasks are designed to last for generations, and I expect my flask will as it's nicely made.

First of all, the flask comes in a nice, slim box that's wrapped with ribbon. I can see this as a popular gift for groomsmen, and you can get an engraving too if you so feel inclined. The box is classy and reminds me of something a necklace might come in. (Sorry, no picture of the box)

Secondly, the SWIG Flask is snugly and firmly encased in the executive pouch, which is made of high-end leather that's 'wet moulded' by leather artisans based in the Spanish town of Ubrique. It's got a sleek feel and doesn't feel like it would slip out of my hand... even if I've had a few drinks! There are a few color options for the pouch as well.

Maybe you need a bit of liquid courage at a party. Or you want to spike your iced tea while on the golf course. Fill up your flask (SWIG also has a stainless steel funnel to make pouring easy), enjoy the benefits of taking a refreshment with you, and be responsible.

One thing to note is the cap does not have an attachment. So when you take the cap off, hold on to it! You don't want to lose that baby.

So who wants to win something?! The folks at SWIG are graciously offering a hip flask to one lucky Giveaway Guy reader. Choose either a Harris tweed flask or Executive Molded flask.

Enter to win using the Rafflecopter form below. You may share on Twitter once a day for extra points for the duration of the giveaway.

Go for it, give it a tweet!
