1. The owner and promoter of the competition is the Living Stone Foundation trading as Lifeline WA of 44a/ 7 Aberdeen Street Perth WA 6000 (Owner).
2. The competition is run in conjunction with Lifeline WA’s 2015 Lights for Lifeline campaign, hereafter referred to as Lights for Lifeline. The winner of the competition will receive a prize, being a manual Mazda2 Neo Sedan (kindly donated by Parkland Mazda, 1287 Albany Highway, Cannington, WA, 6107) valued at approximately $17,490 (Prize).
3. There is no entry fee to enter this competition (other than a donation contemplated by clause 7 below).
4. To be eligible to enter the competition entrants must be:
4.1 at least 16 years of age; and
4.2 residents of the state of Western Australia.
5. The competition commences on Thursday, 22 October 2015 and closes at 5:00pm WST on Friday, 29 January 2016. Any donations received after that time will not be eligible for the competition.
6. A winner will be drawn at random through electronic selection from all entries received and verified by the Owner on Monday, 1 February 2016 and notified by telephone and/or email on that date. If the winner of the competition cannot be contacted on that date or does not claim the Prize within 7 days of notification, the Owner reserves the right to withdraw the Prize from the winner and redraw a replacement winner using the above process.
7. To qualify for the competition, an entrant must donate a minimum of $50 to either one of the following:
7.1 The lights.org.au website;
7.2 Everyday Hero when you donate to someone’s fundraising cause; or
7.3 A Lights for Lifeline competition pledge card which needs to be completed and posted to Lifeline WA, GPO Box K765, Perth. WA 6842.
8. For every $50 donated by an individual (as set out in clause7 above), that individual will be eligible for one entry into the competition draw to win the Prize.
9. The winner of the Prize will have the option to:
9.1 at its expense, upgrade the Prize to an automatic model for approximately $2000; and
9.2 choose the colour of the Prize, subject to availability of that colour at Parkland Mazda, 1287 Albany Highway, Cannington, WA. 6107 on the day the Prize is drawn.
10. Non-individuals, including sponsors, partner organisations and businesses that donate $3000 or more to Lifeline are not eligible to win the Prize.
11. The Prize is supplied by the Owner of the competition, is not transferable or exchangeable, and cannot be substituted for cash or any other products. If the winning entrant of the Prize is, through legal incapacity or otherwise, unable to register the vehicle in their own name or use the vehicle, then the winner of the Prize may assign the Prize to another person (who consents to such assignment) with legal capacity for the purpose of registration and use. The Owner takes no responsibility for any such arrangement between the winner of the Prize and the assignee.
12. The winning entrant will be required to pick up the Prize from Parkland Mazda at 1287 Albany Highway, Cannington, WA, 6107.
13. Lifeline WA employees or Board members and their immediate families, or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition, will not be eligible to win the Prize.
14. Employees of Mazda Australia, including Parkland Mazda, 1287 Albany Highway, Cannington, WA, 6107 and their immediate families will not be eligible to win the Prize.
15. By entering the competition, entrants agree to be bound by the above terms and conditions.
16. An entrant’s donations will be recorded for audit purposes and retained on Lifeline WA’s donor database. The Owner will not sell, share, or distribute an entrant’s personal information to third parties without the entrant’s prior consent, unless it is required by Parkland Mazda for the purpose of providing the Prize to the winning entrant. The Owner will handle the entrants’ personal information in accordance with the Owner’s Privacy Policy which is available on the Owner’s website.
