Entry Restrictions
Entrants must be 16 years of age or over.
The Promoter may require entrants to provide proof of age in a form acceptable to the Promoter. Should an entrant be unable to satisfy this requirement, the entrant will be ineligible for the prize, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion.
Entrants must provide a nominated valid Australian bank account (or the nominated bank account of the winner’s parent/guardian if the winner is under 18 years of age) as requested by the Promoter, in the event that the entrant is a winner.
Entrants must be able to receive a call from the Promoter and appear on air between 4pm (AEDT) and 6pm (AEDT) on any Tuesday or Wednesday during the Promotion Period in order to be eligible for a prize.
Promotion Period
The promotion begins at 6pm (AEDT) on Friday 5 February 2016.
Entries into the promotion begin at 6pm (AEDT) on Monday 8 February 2016.
Entries into the promotion close at 2pm (AEDT) on Wednesday 24 February 2016.
The promotion ends at 6pm (AEDT) on Wednesday 24 February 2016.
Entry Method
Daily Code Word
Between 7.00pm (AEDT) and 9.00pm (AEDT) each Monday and Tuesday during the Promotion Period (from Monday 8 February 2016 to Tuesday 23 February 2016) a different code word will be broadcast on Channel 10 (each, a Daily Code Word). Entrants must watch “I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here” on Channel 10 each Monday and Tuesday between the above dates to obtain the Daily Code Word.
For the avoidance of doubt, the Daily Code Word will be displayed between 7.00pm (AEDT) and 9.00pm (AEDT) on the following dates:
- Monday 8 February 2016;
- Tuesday 9 February 2016;
- Monday 15 February 2016;
- Tuesday 16 February 2016;
- Monday 22 February 2016; and
- Tuesday 23 February 2016.
Web Entry
During the Promotion Period listeners will be invited via Station on-air mentions to visit the Station Website and fully complete the online entry form in the manner required, including by providing:
(a) their contact details including their name, state, age and phone number; and
(b) answering in 25 words or less the following question: ‘Why should Kate, Tim & Marty give you $1,000 cash?’ (Answer); and
(c) entering the most recently broadcast Daily Code Word.
Entries must be received:
i. by 2pm (AEDT) each Tuesday during the Promotion Period (for entries containing the prior Monday’s Daily Code Word);
ii. by 2pm (AEDT) each Wednesday during the Promotion Period (for entries containing the prior Tuesday’s Daily Code Word),
otherwise the entry will be deemed invalid (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion).
Each valid entry will be individually reviewed by representatives of the Promoter (Judges) based on the Judging Criteria.
Judging
(a) Each Tuesday and Wednesday during the Promotion Period between 2pm (AEDT) and 4pm (AEDT), the Promoter will select up to four (4) entrant/s judged to have submitted the “best” entries (based on the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) and provided the correct Daily Code Word from all valid entries received by 2pm (AEDT) that Tuesday or Wednesday during the Promotion Period (as applicable) (each, a Selected Entrant). For the avoidance of doubt, judging will take place on the following dates:
- Tuesday 9 February 2016;
- Wednesday 10 February 2016;

- Tuesday 16 February 2016;
- Wednesday 17 February 2016;
- Tuesday 23 February 2016; and
- Wednesday 24 February 2016,
(b) contact up to four (4) of the Selected Entrant/s (in the absolute and sole discretion of the Promoter) by telephone to discuss their Answer and assess their suitability for radio (based on the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion); and
(c) invite the “best” Selected Entrant from that weekday (based on the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) to appear on air and state their Answer and/or the Daily Code Word contained in their entry (in the Promoter’s absolute and sole discretion) between 4pm (AEDT) and 6pm (AEDT) on the applicable Tuesday or Wednesday during the Promotion Period;
(d) each Selected Entrant who successfully appears on air will be deemed a winner and awarded a prize.
In the event that a Selected Entrant is unable to be contacted, the phone goes to voice message, their phone line drops out, or the Selected Entrant declines or is otherwise unable to appear on air, the Promoter may, in its sole and absolute discretion, contact the entrant who submitted the next ‘best’ entry based on the Judging Criteria to be a Selected Entrant and invite them to appear on air on the applicable Tuesday or Wednesday during the Promotion Period. The Promoter will continue this process until an entrant has been successfully contacted and the entrant has confirmed their eligibility and ability to appear on air on the applicable Tuesday or Wednesday during the Promotion Period.
For the avoidance of doubt, if an entrant is spoken to by a representative of the Promoter, it does not mean they have been selected as a Selected Entrant, and they may not be invited to appear on air or be awarded a prize.
For the avoidance of doubt, Selected Entrants must appear on air during the Promotion Period to be deemed a winner and awarded a prize.
Maximum Number of Entries
Entrants may enter the promotion as many times as they wish, however each entry must be submitted separately, must be substantially unique, must contain a different Answer and must independently comply with these Terms of Entry.
For the avoidance of doubt, entrants may only appear on air and win one (1) prize each.
Judging Criteria
Each valid entry submitted via the online entry form will be individually judged (by representatives of the Promoter) based on provision of the correct and most recently broadcast Daily Code Word as well as creativity, uniqueness and appeal for radio of the Answer.
Each Selected Entrant will be individually judged by the Judges based on enthusiasm and suitability/appeal for radio.
Prize Details
Prizes:
There are up to six (6) prizes to be won, each comprising of:
(a) Cash amount of $1,000.
Prizes will be transferred to the winner’s nominated bank account via electronic funds transfer (or to the nominated bank account of the winner’s parent/guardian if the winner is under 18 years of age).
Total Prize Pool
Up to $6,000.
Notification of Winners
Winners will be notified:
- via telephone; and
- on air at the time of winning,
by 6pm (AEDT) on Wednesday 24 February 2016.
Prize Claim Date and Time
Prizes must be claimed by 5pm (AEST) on Tuesday 24 May 2016.
Prize Delivery
Prizes will be transferred to the winner’s nominated bank account via electronic funds transfer (or to the nominated bank account of the winner’s parent/guardian if the winner is under 18 years of age).
