Win a Royal Caribbean Cruise for Two Competition - Terms and Conditions
1. By entering into the Ozcruising Win a Royal Caribbean Cruise for Two Competition (“this
Competition”), you agree that information as to how to enter form part of these Terms and
Conditions, and that entry into this Competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and
Conditions.
2. Unless otherwise stated, all times and dates specified in these Terms and Conditions are times
and dates in Australia Capital Territory, Australia, being the Australian Eastern Standard Time
zone (AEST).
3. This Competition commences at 10:00AM (AEST) on Tuesday 16th August 2016 and closes at
10:00AM (AEST) on Wednesday 31st August 2016 (“Competition Period”).

Eligibility
5. Entry is only open to residents and/or permanent residents of Queensland (QLD), Australia
(“Eligible Entrants”).
6. Entrants who are under the age of eighteen (18) years of age as at the date of submission are
ineligible, and cannot benefit from this Competition.
7. Entrants and their travel companion must be able to travel between 2 December 2016 and 5
December 2016.
8. Entrants must bring an Australian Government issued pictured and laminated ID card (e.g.
driver’s license/military ID card/government (federal, territory, city, etc.) employee ID card).
Adults cannot board upon presentation of a Medicare Card only. Alternatively, entrants must
hold a valid, current passport with at least 6 months’ validity remaining from 5 December 2016.
A valid passport is required for all international journeys.
9. Individuals who are 24 weeks pregnant or more will not be permitted to travel on the cruise.
10. Employees, directors and management of the Ozcruising Companies, and their immediate
families, and its agencies associated with the competition are ineligible, and cannot benefit from
this Competition.
Entry into Competition
11. To enter the competition, Eligible Entrants, during the Competition Period, must complete the
following:
a) Visit the online entry form provided by Ozcruising
(

b) Follow the prompts and enter their full name (as per ID), date of birth, email address, phone
number, postcode; and
c) In twenty-five (25) words or less, “Describe how you would “Live Life Big” on Royal
Caribbean's Legend of the Seas®?” (“Question”).
12. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid and will be rejected.
13. Ozcruising reserves the right to disqualify, at its sole discretion, any entry where it reasonably
suspects that such entry is prohibited by these Terms and Conditions, any applicable law, or are
otherwise deemed inappropriate.
14. Ozcruising reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and Eligible Entrants (including the
entrant’s age and identity) and reserves the right to disqualify any Eligible Entrant for cheating,
manipulating, tampering or corrupting the entry process or for submitting an entry that is not (at
the sole discretion of Ozcruising) in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Any failure by
Ozcruising to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
15. Ozcruising will not be held responsible or liable for entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted,
misdirected, misdelivered, incorrect or incomplete, and such entries will be not be eligible for
this Competition.
16. Ozcruising will not be held responsible or liable for any internet malfunction, interference or
breakdown which prevents the participant from entering, including but not limited to any
technical malfunctions of any telephone network, computer on-line system, computer
equipment or software; program malfunctions or other failures; delayed computer transactions
or network connections; any errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electronic; or
any combination thereof, including, without limitation, any injury or damage to the computer of
any participant or any other person related to or resulting from downloading any part of this
Competition.
Confirming the Winner
17. There will be one (1) winner (“Winner”). The Winner will be the Eligible Entrant who complete
the entry form and answer the Question during the Competition Period and who satisfies the
eligibility requirements. All entries will be judged on creativity, literary merit, originality and
suitability or as otherwise specified.
18. This is a game of skill, and chance plays no part in determining the Winner. The Winner shall be
chosen by a panel of four (4) Ozcruising staff.
19. The Winner will be notified via phone and email at the time of winning, and in writing within two
(2) working days of being determined.
20. In the event of any non-compliance, including but not limited to cheating, manipulating the
Competition, fraudulent activity, misrepresentation, criminal activity, and/or any noncompliance
of Ozcruising’s terms and conditions by the Winner, an alternative Winner may be
selected by Ozcruising. Any person attempting to cheat, defraud, manipulate or in any way
tamper with this Competition will be ineligible for Prizes and may be prosecuted to the full
extent of the law.
21. Ozcruising’s decision is final and Ozcruising will not enter into any correspondence, argument or
dispute regarding the result.
22. It is the responsibility of the individual to advise of any medical conditions, allergies or dietary
requirements in advance of the cruise departure date.
The Prize
23. The Winner shall win two (2) cruise tickets (being one (1) Twin Share Oceanview Stateroom) to
board Royal Caribbean’s Legend of the Seas®, as described in Clause (4) (“Prize Description”).
The Prize includes Cruise Fare, Cruise Fare Taxes & Fees, Gratuities, as well as any
complimentary on board services, meals and entertainment.
24. The value of the Prize is Six-Hundred and Sixty-Seven Dollars and Twenty-One Cents (AUD
$667.21) per person, or One Thousand Three Hundred and Thirty-Four Dollars and Forty-Two
Cents (AUD $1334.42) in total. Ozcruising accepts no responsibility for any variation in the Prize
value.
25. For the avoidance of doubt, the Winner and their travel companion must both be over the age of
eighteen (18) years. If a Winner is under the age of eighteen (18) years, then they automatically
forfeit the Prize.
26. The Prize is a cruise only. Non-complimentary goods and services, and all other expenses not
specified in Clause (22), will be the responsibility of the Winner. Including but not limited to,
passports, flights, airport lounges, Australian domestic transfers, additional accommodation
made necessary by flight schedules, the casino, the spa, specialty dining, drinks, transfers,
transport to and from the Cruise, petrol, parking costs, public transport, laundry charges,
activities, incidentals, energy surcharges, mobile phone charges, passports, visas, travel
insurance and all other ancillary costs. Ozcruising recommend you take out travel insurance prior
to travel as it is not included in the Prize. The currency charged on board is in US Dollars.
27. You acknowledge that the Prize is subject to third party terms and conditions, including but not
limited to Royal Caribbean Conditions of Sale and Entry and any other terms and conditions as
determined by the Cruise Line. You must become acquainted with any such additional terms and
conditions of the Prize, or for the breach of those conditions by any person. The Winner and
their travel companion, must comply with the cruise ship operator’s codes of conduct
throughout the cruise. The travel companion must comply with any additional requirements or
terms and conditions specified by the Promoter, e.g. age restrictions, etc. Ozcruising holds no
accountability or liability in the instance of any breach of any third party terms and conditions.
28. In the event of the Winner being unable to satisfy these Terms and Conditions or forfeits for not
claiming the Prize by Monday 5th September at 1:00PM (AEST) after being notified by Ozcruising
that they are the Winner, Ozcruising reserves the right to award the Prize to the Eligible Entrant
whose entry was deemed second after the entry of the original Winner.
29. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an Eligible Entrant, Ozcruising’s decision in deciding who
to award the Prize to is final.
30. The Prize offered is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. The Prize is
not redeemable for cash, vouchers or other goods and services.
General
31. By entering this Competition, the participant agrees that the decisions of Ozcruising in all
matters regarding this Competition are final and binding.
32. Except where legally prohibited, acceptance of the Prize constitutes permission for Royal
Caribbean and Ozcruising to use the Winner’s name, photograph, likeness, voice, address (city
and state only) and testimonial, and creates a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to publish
the winning entry, in printed, broadcast, or other media, whether now known or hereafter
developed, in perpetuity, in any manner it deems appropriate in connection with Ozcruising,
including but not limited to promoting this or any other contest of Ozcruising and/or promotion
sponsored by it, without further compensation to the Winner.
33. By participating and entering the competition, the Eligible Entrant agrees that Ozcruising collects
participants’ personal information in order to conduct the competition and in order to send
future marketing communications. If the information requested is not provided, the participant
may not participate in the promotion. A request to access, update or correct any information
should be directed to Ozcruising.
34. This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with
Facebook. Eligible Entrants understand and agree that they are providing their information to
Ozcruising and not to Facebook. By entering this Competition, each Eligible Entrant releases
Facebook from any action or claim arising out of the competition. Any queries, comments or
complaints regarding this Competition are to be directed to Ozcruising, not to Facebook.
35. By participating and entering the competition, the Eligible Entrant agrees that those involved in
the development, production (including Prize suppliers), implementation and distribution of this
Competition and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, service providers,
and agencies, and their directors, officers, agents, employees, attorneys, and any other person
or entity associated with such entities and/or promotion, shall not be liable for any claims,
damages, losses or injuries, including any third party claims, arising from or relating to, in whole
or in part, this Competition, including entry and participation in this Competition and
acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the Prize. All participants further agree that in the
event of any third party claims, damages, losses or injuries, arising from or relating to such
participant’s participation in this Competition, such participant will indemnify and hold Royal
Caribbean and Ozcruising harmless from and against any and all such claims, including
reasonable legal fees related thereto.
36. Ozcruising reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this Competition should
viruses, bugs or other causes beyond its control (force majeure events) corrupt the proper
administration or security of the competition. Ozcruising reserves the right to modify the rules of
the competition in any way or at any time, as long as reasonable notice is given.
37. This Competition is severable and void to the extent prohibited by law and is subject to all
relevant legislative requirements, including, without limitation, federal and state laws and
regulations.
38. Ozcruising does not warrant or guarantee the fitness for purpose, merchantability, functionality
or suitability of any Prize.
