How exciting is this … we have five signed copies of Jason Walker’s new album, All-Night Ghost Town (on CD) to give away. The album is released through the esteemed Lost Highway label. This is the second album for the ARIA nominated alt country artist.  All-Night Ghost Town follows on from his ARIA nominated Country Album of the Year ‘Ceiling Sun Letters’.

Hailing from New Zealand, Jason came to Sydney at the age of 18 to become a writer (he wrote biographies for Gram Parsons and Billy Thorpe) and a performer.  He immersed himself in Sydney’s live and recording scenes, which resulted in him occupying a privileged position at the heart of acts including Showpony, Golden Rough, Youth Group and the Older Guys, which saw him open for Junior Brown across two of the US master’s Australia tours.

A veteran guitarist and steel guitar player, Walker’s ‘All-Night Ghost Town’ is the work of his thirty plus years in the record industry, and was produced by ARIA and multiple Golden Guitar winner Shane Nicholson.  The album also features some of Australia’s finest players including Jeff McCormack, Steve Fielding, Michael Carpenter, and guest vocalists Katie Brianna and Jules Crighton.

The current single ‘Tears’ features vocals from Jules Crighton, and follows on from his single ‘Borrowed Tunes’.
