Contesting will occur between 6am Monday, 23rd January 2017 and 3pm Friday, 10th March 2017.
Number of contesting days and times for contesting will be at the absolute discretion of the Promoter.
Entrants must be 18 years of age or over at the time of entry.Listeners may enter more than once, however, only one prize can be won per person.
Promotions are not open to:
1. employees of, or contractors to, the Promoter or any of its agencies involved with the Promotion;
2. the spouse, de facto spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, or sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent) of such employees and contractors (whether or not they live in the same household);
3. any person who is discovered to have used or attempted to use any more than one name in order to qualify to win any Promotion run by the Promoter except in the case of a legal change of name;
4. any person where that person or anyone from the same family or household has won a prize or prizes from the Promoter on the radio station or on any station owned or controlled by the Australian Radio Network valued either individually or collectively at more than $500 in the 30 days prior to the commencement of the Promotion, or $20,000 in the 6 months prior to the commencement of the Promotion.

During the contesting period, the promoter will broadcast some audio (‘the secret sound’)
Listeners will be invited to call 07 3223 0973 when instructed during the specified time period
Random caller(s) will be selected by the promoter to play (at their absolute discretion)
The first caller to correctly identify what the ‘secret sound’ is, with as much detail required at the discretion of the Promoter, will win the Major Prize.
If a caller fails to correctly identify what the ‘secret sound’ is on air, with as much detail required at the discretion of the Promoter, they will not win the Major Prize, and the Promoter may take other callers (at its absolute discretion).
All decisions are at the discretion of the Promoter and no correspondence will be entered in to in this regard.
9: Limitation on entries
Entrants may enter the competition as many times as they wish, however entrants may only win one prize each.
10: Prize Details
There is a total Major Prize pool of up to $40,000:
Each Major Prize is at the discretion of the Promoter, and will be confirmed at the time of contesting, by the on-air announcer. A major prize will be between $1000 and $20,000. Major Prize amounts may change for each guess, at various times across the Promotion, at the Promoter’s absolute discretion.

Prize Claim Date and Time: 3 months from the date of winning.
The prize will be transferred to the winner’s nominated bank account via electronic funds transfer no later than business days from the time of winning.

Entrants grant permission for their story, or any of their content to be shared with the general public, and to be used on air/online and on any other platforms.
Should the Contesting Segment not be able to run live, the Promoter will pre-record a segment with random callers from another contest set for this promotion which will run on the pre-recorded show day. Any caller who is chosen to participate in a pre-recorded segment will be made aware at the time of calling.
The Promoter may, on occasion, carry out themed days which can include location specific entry requirements, these are at the promoter’s absolute discretion and will be made clear by the on-air announcers.
Prizes awarded are subject to availability and are at the complete discretion of the Promoter.
Major Prizes for each Contesting Spot will be determined at the complete discretion of The Promoter.
By entering this Promotion you agree that ARN can contact you for future promotions, including but not limited to, using your details and broadcasting them on air and/or online.
Should any elements of the prize be changed, moved, cancelled or not available for any unforeseen reason, the Promoter takes no responsibility and the Prize Winners will not be compensated.
Contestants indemnify ARN against any claim, action, proceeding, loss or expense arising out of any liability for claims by a third party, or any claims they may have, caused by or in connection with their participation in the Competition. The Promoter has no ongoing liability to the entrant or their nominated person, for any reason whatsoever.
The Promoter may at their discretion provide additional clues at certain times throughout the contesting period via but not limited to on air, social media, television and digital mediums.
The promoter may at their discretion take as many calls/entrants as they see fit in each contesting segment.
The Promoter, at their discretion, may ask people their guesses off air.
The Promoter at their absolute discretion may publish guesses at any time during the Promotion.
The Promoter, at their discretion, may change the ‘secret sound’ at any time across the Promotion.
