Buckle up food-truck lovers – Brisbane’s very own permanent bar and food truck stop, Welcome to Bowen Hills, is set to launch very soon at the Brisbane Showgrounds! The first round of food trucks has been announced and we’re salivating in anticipation – the line-up will feature none other than Mr Burger, Pizzantica, Brat Haus, Rolling Stone Pizza and Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers. If you’re feeling thirsty for a bit of nostalgia, there will be a milk bar serving up boozy milkshakes and desserts inspired by the Ekka of years gone by – truck yeah!
To celebrate the opening of this food lover’s fleet, we’re inviting 15 lucky winners to bring a friend to the offical launch party. Spend the evening wandering between trucks and sampling all of the delicious eats on offer. On the drinks front you can expect over-the-top tiki cocktails, a secret gin bar and distillery, and more beer than you can shake a stick at. If you think that this night couldn’t get any more magical, prepare to be amazed – there will also be magicians pulling some mind-boggling tricks for your entertainment.
