Complete the climate change survey to win up to $1,000
Complete the climate change survey and be in the draw to win up to $1,000
The ACT is predicted to become warmer and drier in future years, with more frequent extreme weather events such as heatwaves, storms, drought and bushfires.
To help understand how well ACT residents currently cope with weather extremes at home and in their workplace an ACT Government-funded survey is being conducted by the University of Canberra.
The survey will be used to identify how to best improve our ability to cope with the expected effects of climate change.
People who participate before midnight 9 March 2018 go into the draw to win one of seven gift cards worth a total of $2,000.
The survey takes about 20 minutes to complete, and all people aged 18 and over who live or work in the ACT are invited to take part.
Prize draw terms and conditions: Entry into the lottery is determined by participation in a survey on “Living well with a changing climate”, promoted by email, online and using flyers. Everyone who completes the survey online at
www.act.gov.au/climatesurvey will be eligible to enter the prize draw for one of 7 prizes. Winners will have their choice of a Flight Centre, Coles-Myer, WISH or Bunnings gift card, to the following value: First prize: $1,000; Second prize: $500; 5 runner-up prizes of $100. Entries for this competition open on 6 February 2018 and close at 11.59pm 9 March 2018. The prize draw will happen on 14 March 2018 at the Centre for Research and Action in Public Health, Building 22/B, University of Canberra, University Drive South, Bruce, ACT, 2617, at 5pm. The winner will be notified in writing, by email or mail, by 16 March 2018 and listed on
