Started as a project by the Australian fostering agency Key Assets, A Taste of Fostering features nine Australian foster families who share their tales and mouthwatering family recipes. We have four copies to give away!
More than 46,000 Aussie kids need foster care. Foster carers are playing a special role in the lives of children in need, giving them the opportunity to experience every day family life. Sitting with a family at the dinner table and sharing a meal is one of the things many of us take for granted.
Our very own Lana El Habl spoke to several people who had been through the foster system, and her article is a great introduction to the realities of fostering children.
