Giddy up! The 2018 Channel 7 Brisbane Racing Carnival is about to kick off and what better way to celebrate than dressing to the nines and dancing the night away? The Maker’s Mark Carnival Ball held on Saturday 28th April is the unveiling of this year’s racing season and is an event not to be missed.
Held under the stars at the heritage-listed Eagle Farm Racecourse, there will be free-flowing beverages, roaming canapés and a delicious two-course meal to follow. Not to mention a gastronomic experience station presented by Brisbane Racing Club’s culinary team.
The ball may be black tie, but don’t forget your dancing shoes as Luminosity Showband, a five-piece band with dancers will be there to perform all your favourite hits from the 70s to now.
To top it off, winning jockey of the Melbourne Cup, Doomben 10,000 and Stradbroke Handicap, Chris Munce will be a special guest for the night for your chance to mingle with racing’s elite.
