Hatch your very own ‘living fossil’ with this kit that helps you grow prehistoric Triops. These creatures are small crustaceans that first existed 300 million years ago. The species in this kit, Triops australiensis, is native to Australia. Members of this species are sometimes called shield shrimp, as they have a distinctive, oval-shaped body.
You could be one of three lucky winners of a Triops kit from
www.ausgeoshop.com.au. To enter, research Triops australiensis, then tell us what name you would give your pet Triops and why.
